Silk's Steakhouse instantly ranks as a favorite local restaurant. Everything is great, and the salad and dessert should not be skipped, with the baked Alaska described as incredible. The wine list is also exceptional.
The restaurant is always beautiful, the service great, and the food amazing. The Tomahawk for 2 is the best steak in the world, though guests should make sure they are really hungry. The dining atmosphere is great, and the host is welcoming and friendly. Servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu items. The ribeye, Caesar salad, and potatoes with provolone are favorites, along with the espresso martini and old fashion. The pace of the food seems intentional, so guests are not bombarded by appetizer and Entree/side items all at once.
The tomahawk steak, steakhouse mashed potatoes with provolone cheese, and wedge salad are absolutely delicious. The steakhouse mashed potatoes with provolone cheese, wedge salad, red wine, and two Long Island teas are also ordered. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and every dish exceeds expectations. Complimentary champagne and a delicious peach dessert are treats. The classic Old Fashioned is perfectly executed, the Oysters Rockefeller is a tasty appetizer, and the steaks are cooked to perfection with béarnaise sauce. The mashed potatoes are fantastic, and the onion rings are THE BEST. The owners have created an incredible atmosphere, and the restaurant is highly recommended.
