“Our 2nd distillery stop and it was fantastic. Took the Innovation Inspired Tour and Premium Tasting with our guide Cane. He was hilarious, knowledgeable and we could tell he loved his job. He took interest in the people on the tour and joked around with his co-worker who was giving a separate tour. This is the kind of culture you want internally but also the type of customer experience worth every penny.“

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“

“On vacation with our Aussie- was thrilled to find a truly dog friendly venue with GF options. Food and atmosphere (lunch) was great - but we ordered their GF pizza to go to have later for dinner and OMG!!! I have been GF for 30 years and have been searching for good GF pies all over the US as we travel- and this was by far the very best I’ve ever had. Just incredible. Sad that we only have 1 more day to enjoy Lexington- I might order another to bring home!“

“Very nice! My date and I went for Lunch. I have to say, it’s very nice that lunch is affordable there, and it makes us more likely to try their fancy dinner menu.

We got the pimento cheese and crackers. The crackers were huge and sort of hilariously stuck into the ball of pimento cheese. I liked it haha. The crackers were delicious, as was the cheese. I got the Korean fried chicken sandwhich and my date got the chicken and waffles. The Korean fried chicken was very good, maybe missing a little on the sauce, but very good. The fries were also fantastic. The chicken and waffles were also very good. The chicken batter flaked off a ton but I wasn’t too offended by that. It came with butter and maple syrup, we also thought it could have used a sauce, but that’s a personal preference and the waitress was happy to bring us hot sauce. We also got a nice card for our anniversary and free nice-sized brownie Sundae! The brownies were amazing. That was very nice. We will definitely want to come back!“

“Castle & Key is a must stop on the Bourbon Trail. The castle and grounds are beautiful. Grab a drink from the bar and take a quick stroll! The bourbon is good but I’d highly recommend the Gin! The merchandise was unique and I picked up a few things while there. The tasting is pretty quick which may be a pro or con depending.“

“We enjoyed a fantastic New Year's Eve meal at Heirloom in Midway, KY. The service was superb, atmosphere warm, and the food exceptional, on par with meals we have had in Paris and Rome. The four course meal was perfection. The lobster cappelletti was devine and the Chateaubriand Au Poivre was cooked perfectly and was tender and flavorful. The Dubai Sundae was the prefect ending to such a wonderful meal ! We commend the chef and staff for such a wonderful experience . We will definitely eat here again and highly recommend.“

“Small mom and pop style diner. Very narrow building tucked against the cliff. 4 top diner tables and bar seats inside, and about half dozen patio tables outside. Very friendly staff and great diner food and pies. This spot does fill up quickly most mornings so you may want to go a little early. Would suggest backing into the parking. People fly down around that corner“

“We were traveling through from Oklahoma and saw the signs and stopped by. Not only did they have a great wine tasting for me, they had a high end bourbon tasting for my husband-a hidden gem! The lady serving us was so friendly and we also met the owner’s daughter and her dog. Everyone was so welcoming and made for a great experience! Now I am going to have to check to see if they ship!! Highly recommend!!“

“I had never been to this place before but we went for Thanksgiving today and it was FANTASTIC! We had a reservation for the 12:30 seating, and were seated and in line for the buffet by 12:45. The front staff seemed pretty stressed but they did a great job. I’m looking forward to going back to try their regular menu.“

“We stopped by while in the area today. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing. The service was great. The food was the home cooked meal I've been needing. The lady that rang us up was super sweet and treated us like family, even though we were there past closing time, she striked up a nice conversationwith us. Will definitely be back if we are in the area again.“
