“Our first time here, and it was fantastic! Our server Laura was not only super sweet and friendly, but very attentive! Absolutely wonderful human being! I had the avocado toast and a side of French toast, and everything was perfect. I prefer balsamic glaze drizzled on my avocado toast, but they didn't have that, so I used the green salsa they had instead, and that was really really good!! The portions are filling, and if you walk out hungry, that's your own fault! Their coffee is also very very good! Strong, but without the bitter strong taste, just the way it should be. My husband had the huevos rancheros breakfast and he said it was very very flavorful and really good. I forgot to take pictures before we started eating but did take a couple pics in the middle of our meal. The wall of doggie photos is adorable. Oh! And I thought it was cute that there was a travel size Connect 4 game on the table too! We will definitely be back!!!“

“This is such an amazing restaurant that you have to visit if you’re visiting Kentucky. I recommend this to every person that visits Lexington, Kentucky. It’s a beautiful drive to this location and allows people to see more than just the big city. The staff are nice and super helpful. The outdoor seating looking down under the river is also very cool.“

“What a hidden gem! We stopped at JayKs at Forest Grove during a day trip to Winchester, KY, and were so glad we did. There's plenty of seating, a large menu with something for everyone, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The banana pudding was incredible—it took me right back to my childhood with every bite.
The owner even came to our table to personally thank us for visiting, which made the experience feel extra special. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. The locals are lucky to have such a wonderful place in their community!“
