“We had a reservation, which was confirmed via email. When we arrived, not able was available. We got seated and our waitress just didn't show up. I drank my Heineken, waited and waited some more for about 20 minutes. I finally flagged down a person who kindly offered to get our waitress for us. No complaints with service after that. The food was good. However, do not order tuna tartare. I don't know what minced meat it was made from but it was not ahi tuna. It was a mixture of red spicy something, cut with crispy rice. No scallions. I even thought it was salmon at first? The waitress asked the chef and came back with assurances that it was not salmon. I don't know what it was but don't order it. I also had a few pieces of sashimi. White tuna was amazing (you get 3 pieces per order), but smoked salmon came in a weird portion. It was string cut into 6 strings. And when I say strings, I mean imagine a box of matches, cut lengthwise. I had 6 pieces of that. It tasted good, I just didn't know what happened to the rest of it. Everything else was fine. Maybe I just hit on the wrong items that night? I'm not sure. But I will probably not go back.“

The drinks were excellent and my tour guide. Connor was a fabulous guide and so knowledgeable. I take my friends and family here every time and will continue to do so.“

“We were in town for a convention and happened to catch a live music event at Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. Was a perfect way to spend our last evening together. The guitarist was wonderful, and the volume was just right, great music without overpowering the conversation.
As expected, the food and drinks were excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The venue itself is lovely, we had a beautiful view. Earlier in the day there were heavy rains, but they were well prepared and had moved indoors.
There were five of us, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It was relaxed, memorable, and absolutely worthy of a final night spent with friends. Highly recommended.“

“Jeff Ruby's is about more than good food, it's an experience. My husband and I have been loyal customers for over 10 years. We drive nearly 2 hours 1 way, sometimes multiple times a month, just to eat here. We have visited every restaurant except the Columbus location. The steak is always amazing but it's the service that really puts these restaurants over the top for us. Lexington is our favorite location because Jon Wright works there and he's the best!“

“We had the char broiled pork chops with red sauce with creamed corn and mashed potatoes! The pork chops were soooooo tender and cooked perfectly and the sauce was Devine! We are putting them on our rotation for dining out! 10 out of 10!!!!“
