“Best Korean food in town! The Bimimpop is ?? and the location on campus is awesome their Kimbab & fried dumplings are my go to order. And their Korean corn dogs are dangerous ? they will take all your money because it is soo delicious! Speedy service, friendly workers, and even better food!“
“This was my first time to Zen. The server was amazing. The food and drinks were phenomenal. We order the Edamame, the Beaumont and the Xooker rolls which were selected by our server and the Nigiri Teishoki. Our drinks were A Single Plum and the Lychee Sakatini. I will definitely be back!“
“I had the combination dinner number one. It has shrimp tempura and beef teriyaki. It comes with soup, salad, four pieces of California roll, and shumai. Everything was fantastic. I also had a Kirin beer. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. Everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful. There is free parking, but the restaurant is small and there are not a lot of parking spots. It's probably a good idea to get a reservation, even though they don't seem to be required.“
“Literally amazing. Fantastic service, even when we came in right before close (we felt bad, but our coding class didn’t let out until 8!). The gyoza and volcano sushi roll are incredible. We also got the tonkotsu ramen, which we both agreed was amazing. 10/10, will absolutely return. The waitress was fantastic and so incredibly motivated for great customer service. Love it!“
“Fabulous experience. Started with drinks from the bar- she made excellent drinks, went above and beyond to make an off menu speciality drink for me( strawberry basil martini!!) Welcoming hostesses seated us at bar booth. Live music made atmosphere fun! House bread was crusty and served with truffle butter. Started with seafood tower($240) and Champagne($85). Service from Spencer was excellent- he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Cowboy steak($85) had perfect crust, melted in our mouths! Enough for 2 , possibly 3. Potatoes Anna was a perfect accompaniment.“

“We did not plan to visit a land locked state and seek out sushi, but we got a craving and we're glad we did. Sushi blue was good and a great value. We had 2 appetizers, 7 rolls, and 15 pieces of sushi. This plus drinks was under $200. That definitely would not happen in Austin. The on fire roll was both an impressive presentation and an excellent roll. The yellow fin with avocado appetizer was good too. Stacy our service was polite, knowledgeable and attentive. Overall it was a wonderful surprise.“
“Michikusa Japanese Restaurant. This is my second time having lunch here and I’ve made up my mind: this is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in Lexington, KY.The owner himself Hiroshi Aoyagi, who is also the chef, will fix your sushi and your perspective on sushi in general. I’ve been to Japanese restaurants that, within the first and second visit, the salmon sashimi cut got significantly smaller just like my paycheck after tax.But not Michikusa, no sir. In my second visit, the salmon is just as plump fresh and juicy as the first one. As a Christian, my meal here even made me pray twice: one standard prayer for before meal, and one after meal to thank the Good Lord for salmons. I don’t know about you but I think that salmons are also wonderfully made.I started with Agedashi Tofu and went with one of their lunch special options: Mini Salmon-don with half Udon/Soba. Udon and Soba are both noodles and due to my high blood pressure, I googled real quick which one is healthier then elegantly asked for Soba, please. I looked like I know what I’m doing, I wish my mom were here to see it It’s worth noting that 18% gratuity (tip) is automatically added to your bill so when the bill arrives, what you pay is what you see. I like that. I always have a hard time counting tip and math. They are just not my love language.I know I’ll be back and you should try it out, too! Aoyagi Hiroshi-san, arigatōgozaimashita!“
“This place is incredible for the price. The general tsaos is the only place I've been to that actually has some spice in it upon request. Most places have big chunks of fatty chicken that has no flavor. This place has bite sized chunks, flavorful seasoning and the perfect amount of breading. The sushi and hibachi are some of the best in Lexington, and that says a lot compared to all of the other high end places. The yum yum sauce is perfect and not too sweet. If you're looking for a good fast restaurant on the Southside, this is the one to go to. I go here all the time“
“Went for a Valentine's Day lunch at 1:00. The place was busy, but not crowded or noisy. Food was great. Pricing was hard to figure out for the lunch "specials." Hostess showed us to a quiet area of the restaurant, which we appreciated, but then came back to visit and was a little TMI-invasive. Service was polite, but perfunctory.“
“What an excellent dining experience ? from the start to finish..my wife and I decided to sit at the bar because of long wait times and glad we did because Hannah was our server/bartender which was actually Harry's but serve Malone food menu and she was on point with everything including a wonderful demeanor and stayed on top of our beverages and order serving it hot and fresh from the kitchen...the food was absolutely fantastic ? ?..we got Wagyu ? burger and fries with a ceaser side and the Malone Steakhouse Salad ? and you can't go wrong with either or...go check em out and ask for Hannah!?“
“My family and I are visiting from Chicago and decided to go to Tachibana for dinner tonight — 10/10. The staff were so friendly and happy to answer any questions we had and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was just what we needed being away from home.“
“Great food, even for those of us who don't like sushi there are options.Only improvement I would make is the option to get larger portions for the bowls. Like a large that's 50% bigger and 50% more money. Would be perfect!Parking: Parking lot is behind the building with no light or cameras. Kinda sketchy.“
“We recently discovered Ginger Wasabi, and we've been back multiple times. This place is great for the following things:1) Open until 1 am most nights. Great for night owls!2) Great sushi and appetizers! Also love the lo mein which can be bought as a side or a meal.3) Great staff. Everytime I'm in there, I meet a new server. They have all been unfailingly polite, helpful and fast.4) Well-lit, music at a good, background level.5) Very affordable and large rolls.6) Tempura fried cheesecake. Yuuuum.I always get a Pink Lady roll, and it's pretty unique to the restaurant. It is also PINK!We will be visiting again many, many more times. Check it out!“
“When our planned dinner location was closed we rapidly googled something close by our hotel and settled on this hole in the wall sushi and cocktail bar. We were very satisfied with this choice. First the food was very basic, very well executed, and came super quick. Definitely try the Hawaiian Cucumber Wraps for a low carb treat. The service was unreal and very much personal. Whether it was “Grandma” (nothing meant here, but it just seemed like a family working together and she was the oldest (60-70) female working and reminded me of my Grandma) moving from table to table checking on you, or the line staff moving your food and drinks out fast it was great. The drinks were well made and cold. Price point was great for down town.“
“Naomi N served my friend and I earlier in the week and was an absolute joy to talk to! She was very attentive to our little table of two and just had a magnetic personality. We both love going to Drake’s but I had one of the best times the other night thanks to the great food and fantastic service!“
“Thoroughly impressed. Don't be fooled. I've been to sushi restaurants in NYC, LA, MIA, and many can't compare to the quality of this fish. Super fresh, melt in your mouth sushi. Very simple menu which is normally a good indication that they don't overcomplicate, and focus on making the dishes they do have, great! Servers were awesome and attentive too. Highly recommend and will be back without a doubt next time I'm in town.“
