“I sat at the bar (solo), Gerardo was great....very engaging, helpful, listened...and he was busy with a full bar (it was Blue Grass Stakes Weekend). And his partner Graham was equally helpful and engaging. I returned a couple of nights later, the whole restaurant was full, Gerardo saw me, told me he would reserve a spot for me. 10 minutes later, I'm seated. Just great customer service...and I saw Gerardo treating everyone this way. I've traveled a lot to many high end restaurants, and I put these guys in my top 5 for service (maybe 3) and the restaurant in my top 7-8. I'll definitely be back when I return to Lexington.“
“This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food is fresh and delicious. The chips are homemade and I can’t stop eating them. The staff are the nicest and most attentive of anywhere I have been. They also make fantastic margaritas! Love this place!“
“We went for lunch on a Sunday. Not crowded at all, very clean. Server was extremely nice. Food was also very good. Free chips and salsa, chips were very big. Salsa was okay, not hot version given with chips. Our appetizer, Choriqueso was a bit thin. Birria tacos were very good. The best? Not sure, but we are also from Chicago area. Definitely worth the visit. Prices are good too.“
“I took my boss here today and she’s from Miami, eaten plenty of Cuban dishes and she loved her meal here. Thanks for helping save the work day. “Our waitress was extremely nice! The host was accommodating when my husband and I asked for a table, rather than a booth. Food was hot and delicious, though the popcorn shrimp was a little bland. We ordered their crab rangoons and they were amazing - better than any Chinese restaurant we've eaten at! Can't wait to go back!“

“Great place to grab a meal. There biggest seller is the white fish special. It comes with two sides usually fries and either hush puppies or slaw. I usually get extra hush puppies because they are great. Have jalapeño in them but not enough to make the hot just enough to make the great. I'd also suggest getting extra buns. They will give you a choice of white, wheat or rye. The reason for the extra bun is they give you that much fish. Seriously you will have two sandwiches.Their shrimp is great too. Just be warned this place is mostly (all) about the deep fryers. Crab cakes that are delicious and I'm not a huge catfish person so when I say it's good for someone who likes catfish it will be great. You can also by frozen seafood here and sometime they have those hard to find things you're gonna want. This place is just a nice little mom and pop place that will become one of your favorites. Oh you don't sit down and eat. It's all takeout. Still the best lil fish place you'll find.“

We could carry on a conversation with ease. Of course the wine helped. Hugh had a ribeye steak that would have taken me 2 days to eat. It was probably 22 ozs. Our family style veggies were mouth watering too.“
