“Agave & Rye is the best taco restaurant in Lex! They have the tastiest, most extravagant tacos! This is a great environment to try something new and have a few drinks with friends. Highly recommend ordering their Epic Queso Dip, the best queso dip in town!“
“This place is great no matter what you get. A few weeks ago I had the banana pudding French toast for brunch. Today I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese for lunch. Both of my visits have been outstanding to say the least. I can just tell these guys know what the hell they’re doing when they get in the kitchen so if you are a foodie like me this is the place to be.If the weather is good like it was today, you can grab a seat on the patio and enjoy the sun! Check it out…… you will not be disappointed!“
“I cannot recommend this place enough, every thing was amazing from the moment you walk through the door. This was my first time so I wasn't sure what I what I wanted but our waiter was so good and she explained everything so well and really sold us on the specialty drinks. We sat inside and loved the feel of the restaurant the decor felt homey, and welcoming. I had the bone in pork chop it was absolutely amazing! I truly love this place and will be back again.“

“One of our favorite restaurants we have to go to when we are in town! Never disappoints! Our server was amazing, his name starts with a T (sorry I really asked and forgot). Great personality and just a cool guy.Still a great stop before or after getting to Cincinnati for some 3 Way and Coney“
“This is definitely a new favorite for us! Keep in mind that they only have one server at the moment so be patient. The atmosphere is really cool and the food was SOOO GOOD!We ordered the tostones ceviche, octopus, chicken croquettes, beef short rib empanadas, Cuban sandwich with fries and house Sangria. The empanadas weren’t our favorite, but that was only because everything else was so amazing. The octopus is VERY much worth the price. Very excited to go back and try the Paella.“
“We had dinner with another couple. Front/bar was super noisy so we opted for a booth in the back in order to have a conversation. Service was very good. Husband and I ordered the ravioli and the chicken Ceasar salad to share. All good but salad was very small for the price. I'm not a big eater but left feeling hungry even though we had chocolate torte for dessert.“
“My wife and I had dinner at Favor last night and both of us said afterwards that it was the best meal we've had in Lexington in a LONG time. Every single dish was amazing and prepared absolutely perfect. We started off with the mushroom rangoon dish which exploded with the most spectacular tastes in our mouths. We were sure that couldn't be topped, but when we got the Pork Chop and Snapper dishes we were wrong. Watching Wyatt prepare the dishes in front of us also added to the experience, seeing all the love and prep that went into them. He truly is a food genius. We ended it with the cookie dessert which was the perfect ending for a meal that we are still talking about today. Kudos to Wyatt for such an amazing experience and culinary delight. Would highly recommend Favor to anyone looking for a very different meal experience in Lexington that won't disappoint.“
“This is the BEST place for brunch in Lexington! The menu for brunch is great. I can no longer eat eggs and I’m not a huge pancake/French toast person so brunch places can be difficult for me. They have just enough non-breakfast choices to choose from and they’re all fantastic instead of being hit or Miss. Also, if cocktails with brunch are your thing (like mine) the bottomless choices and prices cannot be beat in this town!“
“Had lunch 3/28/24. I had the salmon salad. Large, thick blackened filet on a bed of salad fixings. Husband had buffalo chicken sandwich with cheddar tots. Both from lunch special menu. Two large unsweetened teas. Excellent. Perfectly cooked salmon. $37.44 prior to tip. Such a deal!“
“My girlfriend and I really loved this place and definitely want to come back! Everything was freshly made and delicious. From appetizer all the way to the dessert; this includes the fresh made craft ginger soda! Service was great and very friendly. Highly recommended.“
“This is a good Waffle House (some are just passable). The staff were very responsive and it is jammed on Sunday morning...always a good sign. The fried egg sandwich is my 'go to' and if you can get them to make it, try the chili cheese omelet. You will not regret it.“
“On a SUPER busy Valentines Day, my wife and I experienced a FANTASTIC dinner. Our server Mariah (sorry if I misspell your name) did an amazing job. Our glasses were never empty and the food was amazing. Easily the best BBQ ribs in Lexington. Also, if heaven had a taste, it’ll taste like the carrot cake you have.“
“What a great neighborhood bar! The regulars and bartenders are friendly, interesting and funny. The karaoke is fantastic. I stopped by while in Lexington for a week of appts at UK MED. It was just what I needed. You'll meet no strangers here. Cheers!“
“If I could give this place 10 Stars I would! My husband and I were traveling back home to Michigan after our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park. We had a fun afternoon of burbon drinking after camping and Desperately needed something to eat. Unfortunately, it was so late everything was closed. In a last ditch effort we spontaneously asked a passing local of ANY WHERE we could eat He immediately pointed us to Minglewood. We arrived an hour before close and quickly and apologetically ordered a couple cocktails and some food. I had the pimento hamburger and GIRL LEMME TELL YOU!!! Iv never had a hamburger more delicious in my entire life! It doesn’t stop there, we then had the absolute pleasure of meeting the LADY BOSS (maybe the owner? I was pretty tipsy by then lol) She was AMAZING and after bonding of chef life and hearing how much I love chicken wings, she suggested they had the BEST and proceeded to make us an order HERSELF even tho they were pretty much closed! OH. MY. ACTUAL. GOSH…SHE WAS NOT WRONG! I can’t tell you how serious I am when I tell you these were the BEST wings Iv ever had!! We are going to be camping in Smoky Mountains National Park for New Years weekend and have planned our trip specifically to include a stop here again for those wings! Do your mouth a favor and eat here. -Rose & Todd“
“If you're downtown trying to avoid overpriced drinks and just okay entrees, then check this little dive out. Was near the hotel and sadly found it the last night in town. Could've saved some money had it been the regular spot a few days earlier. Good burgers, sandwiches and daily specials. 24oz PBR only $3. You get a ton of fries, but mine were a little floppy.“
“This bar is the best kept secret in downtown Lexington. The place is clean and cozy with great energy, good drinks, with plenty of TVs, a pool table, a nice patio and actual parking. We went on a Tuesday night for a Quentin Tarantino movie marathon and we had a blast! Also a Fun place to chill before or after UK game Bartenders are friendly and the service is right on the money!“
“Would definitely need to book a reservation, because it is a small local restaurant. But you can sit outside, weather permitting! The decor is lovely, and the staff were wonderful! The food was beautifully plated, and tasted really good! Went for my anniversary, and it was very pleasant! Definitely recommend!“
“This is amazing! Lexington residents are so fortunate! If you are a vegetarian, so many wonderful options. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The delicious sweet and savory combination s is the pimento cheese fritters. A wonderful beat and brussel sprout salad and then the gnocchi - just these wonderful pillows of deliciousness. Great staff too. Such a great place. When Im back in town, staying next door again.“
“We stopped in here on New Year's Eve afternoon for a couple of drinks before heading to our hotel for the evening. Jack and Donna were both amazingly nice folks. They made us feel very comfortable and we enjoyed our conversation with them. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.“
“Lexingtons premiere sports bar but with a little touch of class. Beautiful setting to catch a game. Plenty of selections on tap for beer lovers including some local favorites. Very impressive Bourbon selection. The food is very good as well- highly recommend the CBR fries along with the Buffalo Chicken sandwich.Come here pretty regularly during football and basketball season and the staff is nothing short of spectacular. The wait staff in particular are always friendly and provide excellent service.I also appreciate that the restaurant and bathrooms are always very clean. This is a classy place without being uppity about it- genuinely a place that everyone can enjoy. I've never seen it too rowdy so I would say that it's also a family friendly sports bar- we have brought our daughter before and felt like the environment was appropriate.Great job, guys and gals. Keep it up ?“
“Al's is a great local spot for loud music, cheap drinks, and strong women... or some combination of the above. It's also the only place I play a decent round of pool! For a 'dive bar', it also has exceptionally clean restrooms.“
“The mushroom truffle risotto was very good. My kid actually ate all her green beans. Our server was the literal sweetest, as well as the other 2 that were there (we interacted with all 3) & the manager/owner. It wasn't was as fancy as we were expecting & you could definitely go in a little dressed down. But the energy among the people working was great & infectious! It seemed like they all genuinely love what they're doing.“
“Enjoyed our evening at Fiddletree last night. Sat at the bar and Matt was terrific. Such a great guy! Enjoyed cocktails, charcuterie tray, and filet. The charcuterie was huge. Filet was cooked perfect and so flavorful. Overall it was a great evening.“
“We are fortunate that we are able to travel a bit and eat at a variety establishments. The time spent in Lexington was enjoyed at Sedona on three occasions for lunch, dinner and some very tasty adult beverages. The food was good quality, atmosphere was bustling and the service was unparalleled. Timely service, clean from front desk to Bathrooms. We were blessed with the service of Therase on 2 of those visits. She was engaging, knowledgeable of her menu and a delight to get to know. She is an asset to your company and the next time we are in Lexington we will stop in for sure. Don't hesitate to stop in for a bite and a brew they won't disappoint.Parking: Plenty of parking we walked from Marriott“
“Staff was amazing! Greeted w a smile and made our bowls swiftly and very tasty! As soon as there was no one in line they immediately started cleaning the food line to be ready for next guest. You are very blessed to have a staff that is energetic and will to go over and above. Many restaurants have some very lazy employees . It's been over a year since I was in this restaurant, but I will start frequenting it every week. Sunday 1-7-2024 @1:00 PM“
“I come here semi frequently, & have to say that this time around was extra great. my server Lilli was totally on it. I had everything I needed, my appetizer and entree were perfectly paced, and she was super sweet. Their salmon pesto special is awesome, along with their goat cheese crostini appetizer. portions were great for the price, wine selection is tolerable with familiar names. My favorite place to come for a relaxed lunch :)“
“Was an awesome stay, rooms was very clean and Juana from room service did an excellent job keeping fresh towels stocked up for us, bed made, etc. But the all star of my stay was Abbey at the restaurant bar. She recommended the burger which was large and awesome along with beverages, she was very attentive, detail oriented, knowledgeable and friendly. I wish everyone that worked at the Marriott were like this and very well informed. The free bourbon tastings from 4-6 was a cool thing I have never experienced before.“
“Made the brutal trip down Nicholasville Road and was surprised as to how empty it was. The server was very lovely and gave a free dessert on the house. The cheesecake was delectable, as was the birria mac n cheese. However, the entree erred on the small side for the price but I do understand that that is often a function of quality. I would come here again but at an earlier time to experience a better atmosphere.Vegetarian options: ample vegetarian options or substitutions“
“We loved their breakfast! We've gotten it twice here, once for room service, once sitting down in the restaurant! I love the feeling of the dining area. It was very welcoming, and they even had live flowers on each table! Service was also great!“
“Been eating here since they first opened. Local, small business with fresh yummy food (big portions too)Amazing vibes culturally. It’s not the cheapest of eats and I’ve had a negative experience or two there before (something forgotten from order or it’s slow) but like it’s small business. People have off days. Still consistent mostly and I love it sm. A Lexington gem“
“The food was great like always and I've always thought the same about the service! Tonight though, I found a new favorite, Jessie James! She's friendly. Smiles so bright. Quirky and fun! We asked her for her schedule and will be back!“
