We did a reservation through open table because my husband is injured and in a sling, and a wait would increased his discomfort. We arrived just before our reservation time. The hostess proceeded to sit two other parties our size and a bus load of people that all walked in after us with NO RESERVATIONS. We waited an additional 20 minutes until I went to the desk and questioned why so many others were being seated ahead of us. It seems that reserving through Open Table was a waste of time.“

“Went around 5pm on a Sunday, parking was absolutely packed but we were seated immediately inside. Outside patio had a wait of around an hour, but we could still enjoy the view from our table next to the windows. Service was good and the prices are about standard for a restaurant like this. “Tried Lana's Diner for the first time. Time of our visit came just after their lunch rush. It was obvious they had been busy and at the moment of our arrival, there was only one server waiting tables. While there was a little wait, it was understandable why. The one server, though overwhelmed, did not allow the circumstance to rattle her or keep her from pushing on to take care of customers. I was impressed by how she worked her job without letting her job work her. Her attitude remained polite and helpful to those she was serving. Food was very good and was presented as quickly as was reasonably possible. It was good service considering the circumstance. I give Lana's 5 Stars We will be back!! Our reservation was for 5 pm, we arrived 15 minutes early and were promptly seated just outside an empty private room that they seated 6 people who became very loud! It included a perfectly cooked steak, that was so tender you barely needed a knife, the salmon, shrimp and chicken was also cooked and seasoned to perfection. The 2 sides that came with meal (mashed potatoes and broccoli) were very tasty. I am one of those people that always have to add salt and pepper to my meal due to lack of seasoning, but it did not even cross my mind after the first taste. Our waiter was very attentive and our drinks and food were delivered in a timely manner. The view was beautiful, and we were able to walk out on the balcony since Mother Nature was cooperating, which has a good view of Cincinnati. This is a restaurant I will be revisiting and recommending to friends.“
