“It was pure luck to be in the neighborhood of J. Alexander's. I had no idea they had places outside of Kansas City, where they are known for the best French dip in the country.
Of course I ordered it and was hoping it was the same as KC. Well, it was pretty close. The main positive point is that they serve the prime rib more on the rare side. Most other places us roast beef that is over cooked.
It was fairly close to KC but not quite the quality of beef. The fries are exactly the same and are perfect.
They also have the artichoke appetizer that are awesome.
I'm glad I found this location in Ohio. Enjoy.“

“My husband and I visited Seasons 52 Cincinnati last year for our anniversary and had such a great experience that we came back to celebrate again this year. We had the pleasure of being served by Lindsey both times! The food was phenomenal and service was outstanding. They were so thoughtful in reading our reservation note and we were greeted with the sweetest anniversary sign on our table and even left with a card. We have already booked our reservation for year 3 and cannot wait to visit again! Thank you Lindsey and Seasons 52 for making our anniversary so wonderful!“

“Dinner with friends before a concert. Wait was only 15 minutes and they were able to sit us on the patio as requested. Service was okay. We understand they were busy but drinks seemed to take a while. Food came out staggered which was okay but not ideal. My choices were very good. Both under the 700 calorie list. Everything seemed very fresh and the flavors were balanced very well and not lacking. My steak was cooked exactly as requested.“

“I've been coming here for years, and it's always a treat. My favorite dishes are the bread with garlic, the gazpacho, and the crispy skin salmon.
They usually have a good selection of cocktails, but I also like that they'll enthusiastically make a really good non-alcoholic drink that is equally delicious and complex.
I realized I don't have any photos of my times here; I'll follow up with photos the next time I make it down there, but I highly recommend.
It is expensive but I've never questioned the value, it's just a special treat for me. I've always done a reservation which you can do online and the people have never been snobby or rude despite me always coming in with casual clothes. I love this place, I hope they don't change their basic framework as it is fantastic.“

“Drinks were great, and they had a $7 cocktail special which was awesome. Got the ricotta and honey appetizer which was delicious. Should come with more bread. Had to order a second helping of bread and that still wasn't enough. Was hard to get the check and we were the only ones in the establishment. Had to go up to the bar and ask for it“

“I came here on a whim with my sister, we ended up here because it was Monday I had heard of the metropole thru the grapevine but never on the level I've heard of aperture, sotto, and similar. I'm here to change that I want to shout this place from the rooftops, it was criminally empty (yes I know it was a Monday but I've been to many similar restaurants what I would consider on par with this place and they are packed all week) I need this place to get busy and stay open so I can come back ??? everything we had was stellar, the bread was fluffy and grilled well, my sister who is a kitchen manager at a major restaurant (I won't say which) was aghast at how tender her pork loin was. My chicken had this beautiful crispy chewy skin that I couldn't get enough of, even the carrots we ordered as a side were cooked to perfection, tender, and salty but still sweet in a way that my mouth is still watering from. Long story short, you need a Monday hangout with some friends or a date night, go here because Mondays suck but they suck a lot less if you can have dinner at the metropole. Also do not miss out on the shisito peppers ?“

“Emillie was a great server! Let's start with the great things. We did apps and sides. Dumplings were so good but broth was phenomenal !!! Burrata and tomato jam was basically an amazing caprese, sooo good. We also had truffle mushrooms which we added to dumpling broth, YUM! and also had the perfect broccoli with just an ok aioli. Was unimpressed with crab avocado toast, not worth the expense. Have had a a lot of crab food options s and this underwhelmed. My husband is a brownie sundae officianato and he seriously loved the s'more brownie dessert. Overall, great food and sat outside away from a noisy interior on a Friday night.“

“Went here for a date night and left so full and happy!! Our server, Jenny, took such good care of us. It was nice to have the menu and specials explained to us in details and got a lot of recommendations from her, too. We ordered the crab cakes, mussels, lamb rack, their steak and crab special for the night. Everything was cooked to perfection with right seasonings and temp. We really enjoyed the special-the filet mignon was soooo tender and the crab was sweet! It was cool to have a candle lit butter and Cajun spiced lemon on the side for the crab. We were so stuffed at the end but couldn’t help but get dessert to go. The crème brûlée NY cheesecake is SUCH a treat and I’m so glad we got it. Service was 10/10, would recommend everyone to go here for nicer dinners.“

“My wife and I frequent Maplewood on the weekends for brunch. There are many options in downtown/OTR/northern Kentucky for breakfast on the weekends, but Maplewood is our favorite. The menu has a nice variety of American breakfast options, as well as healthier alternatives. We love the Guajillo Bowl and Mediterranean Bowl, but the Maplewood Hash is also delicious if you are in the mood for something a little heavier. The GM, Erik, often recognizes us and welcomes us back. Erik and his staff always do a great job with service, and mitigating the crowded weekend mornings. Bring back the Chicken Tiga!!! Note: It's first come, first serve seating and you are supposed to wait in line and order before being seated. However entitled guests sometimes circumvent the line and save tables for the rest of their party waiting at the back of the line, whom have yet to order. This often throws off the flow of available tables, because the people whom waited in line and just ordered, now do not have a table. It can get busy here on weekends, but if you go, don't be one of these people, please wait in line like everyone else. The line moves quickly and the staff turns over the tables quickly as well. The couple of times this has happened to us, the staff promptly sat us at the bar and gave us a discount on our breakfast.“

“Our meal was delicious. The service was excellent! We highly recommend La Bar a Boeuf! I had the crab cake appetizer and it was very good-2 large crab cakes. My husband had the escargot-very good. I had duck for the entrée. Again, I recommend this dish. My husband had the soft shell crab??. We were too full to have desert!“

“Amazing experience at Wildweed and what an addition to the Cincinnati restaurant scene. We did the chef's table with wine pairing and they knocked it out of the park. From the service, every single person acknowledged and welcomed us to the food (so creative, delicious and locally inspired), to all the small touches of high end glassware for wines, beautiful furniture. I don't know how every single person is not raving about this spot. Can't wait to go back, as it's been the best meal in the city. With fine dining spots in the city lost like Table, Nuvo, L, this one I hope stands the test of time for a new modern type of fine dining.“

“It’s been a looooong time since everything I’ve ordered at a restaurant was perfect. Mussels were the best I’ve EVER had. Queso was sublime. I was stuffed by the time our entrees arrived but I kept eating because it was the f$&king bomb. I had the New York strip and it was perfect. We don’t normally visit the same restaurant twice since there are so many options in SW Ohio but we just might have to come back to this one. And the service was impeccable as well btw.“

“In town for our anniversary. Randomly looked up options for cocktails and lunch. Reserved a spot via Open Table and they did not disappoint. The deviled eggs are amazing. The Dirty French burger and Neck Bone Gravy were out of this world. Service was top notch. We will be back!“

“Service was great, our waitress Putu was very attentive and kind. The food was pretty good, my pancakes were lacking in taste and could have used some salt and vanilla in the recipe. My husband's hash browns also needed salt and could have been cooked longer to make them crispy. Coffee and juice were fine. Bacon cooked well. The restaurant is nice, but at $60 for breakfast, it seems a little high for what we got.“

“I've lived across the street for two years now. Parkside opened roughly a year ago with great enthusiasm. Almost immediately the place was packed with a constant stream of people dining, drinking, hanging out on the patio etc.
The food is as great as it gets with a delish cheese burger (try the pimento), guacamole, buffalo spring rolls, & even the salads.
The staff are service industry elites who are use to a high volume & high energy place Parkside has achieved.
The atmosphere is like a busy neighborhood hangout. People bring their dogs and kids to the patio, everyone talks amongst groups, while the inside offers a cozier more calm traditional restaurant area.
On the bar & drinks... Even if you're just there to down a few pints or cocktails after work or there to make some new friends, you never feel like 2nd priority. The bartenders and staff are friendly and efficient and while I personally would like a wider variety of wines, Parkside gets high remarks with choice selection of glass pours, a wide variety of beers, & a exquisitely constructed cocktail menu.
Sadly, I depart the neighborhood next week but Parkside has become a staple of what every place should desire to achieve in Hyde Park. Kudos.
Vegetarian options: Premium salads, guacamole/pimento cheese, and a few other options!“

“Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“My biggest challenge has been wanting to shop for quality locally sourced food, but understanding that I may need to go to multiple markets to find everything I need. Findlay Market has EVERYTHING.. from eggs, to produce, to fresh meat, seafood, seasonings, and etc. I can grab a beer and shop. I love it. Disclaimer: Don’t come near closing time because they start packing up before they close. Which I get but just make your hours end earlier than saying you’re open to the public until that time. 4 o’clock means 4 o’clock lol. If you want out by 4 then say you’re done earlier than that. They will say they will close early if it’s not busy, but I’ve seen a packed house and multiple shops completely shut down already lol. Golden nugget: the meat market in the middle has the most remarkable blueberry maple sausage. You’re welcome.“

“I recently used Kitchen 1883 to provide food options for a party that I had and it was wildly successful. The Caulisprouts were just about everyone’s favorite, but I got so many compliments on the pulled pork w/Tabasco slaw and the Greek wraps (it was a great vegetarian option)too! The team that worked with me to deliver and set up the food was incredible. So friendly and helpful, definitely went above and beyond!“

“we ate in today, my mother and i. our experience with our server, Amber was unlike any experience that we've had before I'm grateful. I haven't necessarily given them the best ratings in the past, I don't remember our server's name those times. Amber however will be unforgettable for the rest of my life and here's why. there were a couple of elderly couples that were seated after us, and she was very familiar with these people already, whereas we were not familiar with her at all. she handled each table differently, accordingly, no doubt with respect and love. heavy on both. I had to call and record a charge on my card and I was kind of holding my mom up and be able to order food and I felt bad because she was starving. somehow some way, Amber had our food out to us very quickly, cooked perfectly, absolutely everything the way that we ordered it. we didn't have to send anything back, we didn't have to ask for anything else extra to be brought to us, she even walked by after a few minutes and brought us extra napkins. I mean, super top notch service. quick, perfect. and that singing voice on that woman oh my god! I was a little reluctant to eat here today because my last few times eating here weren't necessarily the best experience, but I will be back for sure.“

“While visiting thee high school that my wife's father attended, we stopped for lunch at Gilligan's on the Green, a restaurant and brewery. I was told by our waiter that Gilligan's was once the old fire station of Wyoming, a suburb of Cincinnati. We chose to sit outside on the deck. Inside the resturant, our waiter said, there were rooms that acould accommodate small groups up to 60 for a special event or party. It was a Friday and from some past remembrance of my youth of having fish on Fridays, I chose the fish and chips. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't get a few "fingers" of fish ... I got a hunk of fish, expertly fried with a nongreasy tempura like crust. There is a great list of pub style favorites on the menu, and a full bar. While not entirely an Irish pub it can't be ruled out:) Gilligan's has great service, ample parking and is wheelchair accessible.
Parking: Plenty of available parking. This was lunch time.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating. Family atmosphere.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible.“
