“It was pure luck to be in the neighborhood of J. Alexander's. I had no idea they had places outside of Kansas City, where they are known for the best French dip in the country.
Of course I ordered it and was hoping it was the same as KC. Well, it was pretty close. The main positive point is that they serve the prime rib more on the rare side. Most other places us roast beef that is over cooked.

It was fairly close to KC but not quite the quality of beef. The fries are exactly the same and are perfect.
They also have the artichoke appetizer that are awesome.
I'm glad I found this location in Ohio. Enjoy.“

“We had dinner at Ivory House on 3/21. It was an absolutely delightful dining experience. The food was superb. The staff was welcoming and worked hard to ensure we had a very pleasant dining experience. We will most definitely return.“

“My first time eating here was very good! The BBQ pork nachos are delicious and I highly recommend those. I also had the cod filet sandwich. The fish was very delicious. However, my one complaint, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is the number one complaint about this sandwich. It really needs a different kind of bread. The bread the cod filet sandwich is served on is very tough and chewy, and it doesn't fit well with the sandwich. I highly recommend that the company look into changing the bread. Other than that, my overall experience here was very good, and I will definitely be back.“

“It’s been a looooong time since everything I’ve ordered at a restaurant was perfect. Mussels were the best I’ve EVER had. Queso was sublime. I was stuffed by the time our entrees arrived but I kept eating because it was the f$&king bomb. I had the New York strip and it was perfect. We don’t normally visit the same restaurant twice since there are so many options in SW Ohio but we just might have to come back to this one. And the service was impeccable as well btw.“

“Last Fall, we had Ron's Roost cater a family wedding celebration at our home. When we picked up the food, it was tediously prepared and organized for transporting. Their service was outstanding! The portions were abundant! Nobody beats their chicken for a large crowd. Everyone raved about it! And we were able to send lots of food home with our guests. I HIGHLY recommend both their restaurant and this take out catering service. They are reasonably priced, a Westside favorite and owned by a lovely family. Thank you!“

“Eat here about once a month for lunch while working downtown.

Even if you go right at 12, the line might be out the door, but it moves so fast. Not only the line, but the food as well. You’ll still get your food wicked fast.

“we ate in today, my mother and i. our experience with our server, Amber was unlike any experience that we've had before I'm grateful. I haven't necessarily given them the best ratings in the past, I don't remember our server's name those times. Amber however will be unforgettable for the rest of my life and here's why. there were a couple of elderly couples that were seated after us, and she was very familiar with these people already, whereas we were not familiar with her at all. she handled each table differently, accordingly, no doubt with respect and love. heavy on both. I had to call and record a charge on my card and I was kind of holding my mom up and be able to order food and I felt bad because she was starving. somehow some way, Amber had our food out to us very quickly, cooked perfectly, absolutely everything the way that we ordered it. we didn't have to send anything back, we didn't have to ask for anything else extra to be brought to us, she even walked by after a few minutes and brought us extra napkins. I mean, super top notch service. quick, perfect. and that singing voice on that woman oh my god! I was a little reluctant to eat here today because my last few times eating here weren't necessarily the best experience, but I will be back for sure.“

“I came as part of my goal to try as many Cincy Chili spots as I can find, and this place did not disappoint. I ordered a three way and it was pretty great. The chili is of course authentic and is smooth in texture, similar to Empress for anyone who's had that before. But of course very different in texture from the likes of say Camp Washington Chili. I found it had a bit better taste than Empress. Them I wasn't a fan of, but I'd certainly come back here. Service was great, Angelo is still back there cooking, very impressive! It seems to be a very much casual local place, old fashioned in a way, all of which I really enjoyed. It is cash only, so be aware of that. All together I had a great experience. Great Cincinnati Chili for a great price, with great service and nice atmosphere, what more could you ask for!“

The Caulisprouts were just about everyone’s favorite, but I got so many compliments on the pulled pork w/Tabasco slaw and the Greek wraps (it was a great vegetarian option)too!
