About Cincinnati Dinner Train

The Cincinnati Dinner Train offers a unique dining experience aboard a historic train, creating a charming atmosphere reminiscent of the 1940s. Guests often find the atmosphere relaxing and enjoy themed entertainment during the three-hour ride. The staff is described as amazing, friendly, and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure guests have an enjoyable time, such as when the conductor points out historic landmarks. The train ride includes entertainment from groups like the Queen City Sisters, who sing songs from the 40s and 50s, making the experience even more memorable. Guests are encouraged to explore the beautifully restored vintage railcars. While some may consider the price a bit high, the overall experience is highly praised, particularly for the fantastic food and beautiful views near the river. Many have enjoyed dishes like the calzone, noted for its crispy exterior and cheesy filling. After dinner, guests can participate in a fun photo opportunity on the platform and even blow the train's whistle. Several groups enjoy dressing up in 1940s-style attire, adding to the nostalgic ambiance. Despite some limitations in scenery, the Cincinnati Dinner Train provides a memorable and recommended outing, especially for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a different experience in Cincinnati.

Service was friendly, efficient, and attended to our every need. The food was prepared on board the train and everything was very tasty! There is a full bar and several fun, themed cocktails. The route was great and offered some fantastic views. The conductor also provided some wonderful history...read full review
