“We arrived at 5pm on Thursday. The inside was nearly full; but the weather was nice and there is generous outside seating. We had the dry-rub wings as an appetizer. Very tasty. Then, as it was burger week, we all ordered their special burger. All agreed the best burger week burger thus far. Service was okay but maybe poorly trained; the waiter seemed often too distracted chatting with another waiter to notice when we needed something, though standing less than 10 feet away. Not terrible service by any means, just less than it should have been. Example, our table was wet from an earlier rain, and none of the staff seemed to notice or care, though they brought extra napkins and so we dried it. Not a problem really, but odd. Still, all-in-all an enjoyable dining experience, and we'll certainly return.Parking: A bit tight in the main lot.”
“Haven't been to Arnold's in forever. Don't know why! Went there before a show and sat in the courtyard. Great vibe , great service and food. Rating on noise level is not a knock on them as they had a one person performer on guitar (she was great). They publish when folks are performing and it is one of the reasons we decided to go there that night. If we wanted it quieter, we could have been seated inside or their on street outside seating. Great night!”
“Enjoyable Evening with FriendsLast night, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining with some friends at Gulow. We were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, which was enhanced by the charming decor. While my husband decided to try out their famous hamburger, I opted for a gluten-free option. The bartender recommended the delicious salmon salad but served on a bed of mixed greens. We also had the opportunity to sample some of the creative cocktails on the menu. The bartenders were fun and knowledgeable and made great suggestions. It was a fantastic experience overall. If you haven't visited yet, be aware that it's a seat-yourself establishment where you order at the bar. They also have an outdoor patio that is dog-friendly.”
“I used to work with the door man at Ride Right.Thursday night Reggae was the best vibe everyone showing love and gohing praises to the Creator by pointing to the sky with one finger from giving a hand shake..Enclosed patio with heat lamps for your herbal meditation.Great bar dance floor and tables to take a load off. Will be back”
“First time here one new years starting off 2023. This is a cool place with a chill vibe and fun people with friendly personalities. The food was good and free and the drinks were tasty and a decent price. Definitely a place to check out it is low key and I love that even more”
“Anymore it’s hard to find a restaurant that has PFP, but Ali’s has it all. The People at Ali are great, the staff and regulars are friendly, inviting and appreciative. They make you feel like you’re part of the family when you walk in. The Food is consistent and delicious, I’ve been here 30+ times before writing this review and I’ve ordered Thai chili wings 25/30 and I’ve never been disappointed by them or anything else on the menu. Lastly the Price! 2 drinks and an entree for under $25 it’s unheard of in 2023. In recap if you’re looking for good People, Food and Price then Ali’s is the place for you.”
“Went on the recommendation of a few neighbors, and this place is GOOD. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, and hot/fresh. There was not one thing we thought was just “ok” - everything we ordered was so good! Breadsticks, cheese curds, pizza, ranch, sweet potato fries - all great. Michelle was our server and she could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Patio was great and very kid friendly. We will be back!!!”
“Had a party of 3 at about 730pm and we were seated immediately. Greeted by the owner and he even remembered me from the first time I had been there a couple of months prior. Very friendly staff and lots of cool sports memorabilia decorated around. They were transitioning to a new ordering system using handheld scanners so that process was a bit slow but I can't attribute that to any fault of the staff. They are learning. Once ordering was complete our food came out quickly and was hot. We got an appetizer of the stuffed jalapeños. So so good. 2 of us got the pulled pork sandwich which was juicy and very tender. The flavors are very rich and delicious. They come with fries that are perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The other member of my party got the brisket sandwich and it was just as tender. A huge slab of brisket. The macaroni and cheese is out of this world. So much flavor and very creamy. It was my second great experience there and I will definitely be back.”
“The seasoned crowd is the best. No violence, no drunken outburst, great food especially the fish dinners with the peppers and onions. The outdoor covered patio with a bar is awesome. The projector screens outside to catch all the sports. The New owners turned the Old Sunny's into a bright "Cali" . Teamwork really does make the dream work.Great place to hang out.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access is nice and accommodating.”
“Love this taste of Buffalo in Cincinnati. The Beef on Weck is fantastic and the wings are great. They even have pizza logs. As for non Buffalo food, the fries are extraordinary. They also have a decent selection of of draft beer but more frequent rotation would be awesome.I love going here on Fridays for lunch.”
“Clean. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating at the bar or dining tables. Food is fresh above average bar food. Specials are always homemade and delicious. Clientele is a mix of friendly people. Darts is popular along with Golden Tee. New outdoor patio is being built and is very large.”
“Exactly what we were looking for and more. Chill but upbeat atmosphere, Games on tv, sit at the bar and have a cocktail or 5. Bartender was fantastic, she was engaging but not overbearing, kept the drinks coming and was just an awesome person….Give this place your business & Support Local!”
“Very cool and relaxed atmosphere. They have a bunch of TVs to watch live sports. The bar offers a nice variety of specialty drinks as well as draft and bottled beers. The service was great and we didn’t have to wait for anything. The food was delicious however some of the menu items seemed to priced a bit high. Overall the prices weren’t unreasonable by any means. The location is in a pretty nice part of town with plenty of shops and other eateries in the area. We parked nearby in a public lot that was very affordable.Parking: There was street parking available as well as a pay to park lot nearby.”
“Actually pretty chill place. I'm not a fan of bars in general, but this place isn't super rowdy, they have food and it's not cheap by any means, but isn't egregious either. They have some really good daily specials too. Definitely one of the better bars I've been to.The staff was all very nice, very chill. The patio out back is fantastic as well.Vegetarian options: Nothing that's labeled vegetarian, but they have stuff like pretzels and fries and mozzarella sticks. Nothing I saw that was probably vegan besides maybe pretzels and fries.Parking: They don't have their own parking lot, so you have to either pay for a nearby lot or find some street parking.Dietary restrictions: Nothing gluten free sadly, atleast nothing I remember seeing”
“This is a friendly neighborhood bar. It seems to open early and close late. They have a kitchen that serves traditional bar fare. There are not any draft beer taps, but a better and average selection of canned/craft beer. There is a small outdoor patio out front with seating for smoking.”
“With them being a new establishment the service was a bit slow... BUUTTT the $5 Margs and Southwest egg rolls WE'RE FIRE!! The wings were perfectly tasty and the loaded fries did not skimp on cheese or bacon! We will be back even if its for carryout only!”
“City View Tavern is a simple, no nonsense dive bar with a priceless view of downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Genuine bartender with with short, honest answers that runs this place his way. The inside likely has not changed in decades. Park on the street or get a ride here. No parking lot. Put your favorite song on for $2. The outside seating area is not big, but we were able to quickly find a table on a Saturday night.Parking: Park on the street or get a ride here. No parking lot. It's Mt. Adams.”
“Came in on a whim, best decision we've made in a while. The burger surpassed my expectations, especially for the price. The fries were perfectly crispy and the staff were all very accommodating and friendly. This is likely a new regular spot for us from now on. Highly recommend, A+”
“What is there to say about Pilot Inn?Yes, it is a bar. Many others here in other Google reviews have called it a 'dive bar'. I challenge you to think of it as so much more.It is a place where people come together to meet. It is a place where those people become friends. And it is a place where friends belong. An old school bar through and through, with great service (Thanks Jay!) great friends (shout out to Calvin!) and alcohol selection. I had Makers & Diet, but you're free to order whatever your heart desires.5/5, would patronize again.”
“Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.Parking: If not in the front go around back.Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah just roll on in.”
“Very nice establishment, great technology at the entrance to ensure safety, great music and the food was good too!The shots were, normal. The crowd was laid back, a few hotties were even in the place to be! ? The Juke Box even had all the jams on it! We were leaving when the DJ came in so we didn't hear much from him. Overall great experience I would definitely return.”
“Didn't have any food. But the service great, lady at the bar was nice and easy to talk with. Everyone there that night was friendly. They have a pool table. Seems alot bigger than it is ,but thas due to the trickery w mirrors on one wall. Overall great little ”
“As I've said before, my son loves to take me places to shock me. So he said we were going to the "Duck" I was confused...it said Honky Tonk. He pointed out Duck on the wall. I look it up on Yelp and it says "dangerous" biker bar. Looks more like working man bar to me. With pool tables, bowling, and golf games. But I guess there's some kind of history. I asked for vodka on the rocks. They asked if I wanted ice? It was a confusing afternoon. And I felt over dressed.”
“This restaurant is close to the zoo and is a fantastic spot to enjoy great food and drinks after a day looking at all the animals. They've got a bunch of different kinds of craft beers, amazing cocktails that taste awesome, and food that's super delicious and unique. The place looks really nice and the people there were prompt and helpful. The best part is that even though it's a fancy spot, it doesn't cost a ton of money, so you can have a nice meal without breaking the bank. Oh, and don't miss out on trying their turkey Reuben and the bacon and fig jam bruschetta! Both were a bit different from the usual, but worth it for sure!”
“Food was good. Service started out good but our server quickly became overwhelmed as the restaurant filled up. A large table near us was also very loud and demanding of the server causing a bit of an uneasiness. Seems like just an off night, the food is worth giving it another chance.”
“This place has the best wings in cincinnati. Yes I said it fight me. You can get them 2 ways grilled or friend (stoked) the serve it will 6 different wing sauces on the side so you can create your own flavor profile. Service has always been good and they have a decent alcohol selection. The tables seem to all be wobbly is my only complaint.”
“Can't recommend it enough! We're vegetarian, and the menu has quite a few good options. We love the charming back room with its historic touches. Service has always been attentive and friendly. It's also the best value around. It's our go-to spot for dinner out.Vegetarian options: More options than most places”
“This establishment has a nice ambiance. There are plenty of original menu items. I dined with my two sons, one of them is vegetarian (they have good vegitarian options). I had the fish and chips, which came with a ramshorn style chip that was absolutely delightful. My second son had the Bah bah black sheep burger and was pleased with it as well.Vegetarian options: My eldest son was a vegetarian and he said he has eaten there plenty of times so, the vegetarian options would seem plentiful.”
“Stopped in for a bite, we have driven by ATP many times and always thoguht we should try it. We had the time and stopped in. Fantastic atmosphere, chill, not too loud with TV's or music, food was fantastic. Very reasonable time from order to eating. Menu was fairly eclectic with burgers, sammies, etc. Beer was cold(I tried the Irish Ale on tap) and tasty. Onion rings were very good, fries were on point. I used mayo as a dipping sauce, these fries exploded with flavor. Staff was friendly and attentive, but not pushy. Plenty of parking. We will go back soon!Parking: Easy in and out.”
“So... Typical hood bar, that's the best I got lol. They got patio seating, a few pool tables, and a bar with some good views and some cheap drinks. I didn't try the chicken but some of the people that I was with had and they said the chickens crazy good too. You will see all types of stuff, just everybody having a good time. Really good vibe.”
“Nice local gastro pub near the Univ of Cincinnati campus.Stopped in for lunch. The parking has a nice mural on the wall that I admired and there are picnic tables to be outside. We chose to go inside, weather was a bit too cold to eat outside for us.The dining room was ok, nothing special. Can see in the evening time being a popular spot for drink. The food and service was good”
“No food but they do have days they do bring food for the customers nice spot with good drinks everyone is friendly/family I'm a regular! I been going for years now and even had a few of my birthday parties in there as well music is jukebox but if you come on certain days the bartender Mr Tyrone will play the music from a device I love everyone there especially the bartenders Nicole! Trish! Vicky! Tyrone! Ms Tony! Brenda! Everyone has good vibes and always smile will forever be my favorite chill spot”
“Great location.two pool tables.pool is 1$ a game.good drinks .nice crowd.no food at this time.but it do has a music box 1$ a song. They sell dark liquor .clear liquor. Front porch smoking area in back smoking area.no weed aloud.lot of seating area.friendly staff. Not so crowded. I can leave my purse unattended.but keep your drinks by u at all time u never know.but in all my two go place I can go there in be myself in not have to worry if something going to happen to me or not.but the place is welcoming to all .”
“The bartender are not friendly to new customers. They only serve people who are regularly in there. The bartenders give off old bitter hater vibes. If you’re nice looking woman I don’t recommend you go there cuz you will not be served a drink. Also, if you are not from that area the people are rude and weird towards you. Do not recommend this place because the energy is off.”
“As a former “Buffalonian,” I wings are virtually part of my DNA. I came across Montgomery Towne Tavern after taking a new direction for my search flit find a sub-par chicken wing in the Cincinnati area. Their smoked wings were perfectly cooked and priced. They have a large list of different sauces to choose from - which come on the side (make sure to ask for extra). I haven’t tried the regular wings yet, but I’m looking forward to trying more from the menu. Highly recommended.”
“This place is a family favorite in our house ? it's just around the corner and the food is usually hot and tasty regardless of weather we're eating at home or at the restaurant. A long standing Cincinnati bar and grill with an excellent outside patio and fun and games inside with of room for the whole family. Definitely worth going to this restaurant for some quality time with your people or just yourself. It's never overly loud even when when it's popping. Enjoy ?????Vegetarian options: Not much beyond your normal "salad" greens options you'd expect in any Bar ??? with a burger joint attached. They also have home cooked style meals and some vegetarian wraps and avocado ???Kid-friendliness: Most certainly kids friendly. Great for after ball games or dinner with the grams etcParking: Plenty of parking with front lot and a large rear lotWheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is not very accessible but with a getting hand you'll easily get in the back door”
