“My husband and I had dinner here before attending the Nate Bargatze comedy show on Sunday, October 26th. We were running late due to the Bengals game letting out, and the traffic and crowds in the streets were beyond chaotic. We called Bourbon's and informed them of the situation and they were so kind to hold our table for us. We finally arrived and we were greeted and seated immediately. The service, the food, and the ambiance were all excellent. We would highly recommend this place. It's a great location if you're attending an event at Paycor Stadium, the Reds Stadium, or the Heritage Bank Center. It was an easy choice being so close to the venue we were attending and we're glad we chose it!“

“Highly recommend if you are looking for a great burger! We started with the mac and cheese bites which were great with the posty sauce. My husband had the 1788 burger, and I had the slider sampler. Everything was delicious! And the food was ready so fast! Our server was very friendly and checked on us often.
We chose this restaurant because it had a dog friendly patio. They brought a water bowl for our dog and even had dog treats in a mailbox! VERY dog friendly!“

We had the best time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day here with a great group of friends. The energy was fantastic — everyone was in green, the decorations were fun, and the pub was packed but still felt welcoming.

The food did not disappoint! We ordered the juicy burger with all the fixings (perfectly cooked and loaded with fresh toppings), a big basket of crispy wings in a delicious sauce, and the chicken sandwich with coleslaw that was fresh and flavorful. Fries were hot and seasoned just right. Everything came out fast and tasted homemade.
The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy holiday. No wait for a table, which was a huge plus.

“We visited for the first time and were very pleased. The bar is quite big with plenty of places to sit. They have a bunch of bar games too. We were there for a live performance by Tin Hat Cowboys and they were a great time. We also tried some food and it was better than expected. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back.“

“Even having arrived mid afternoon on a weekday, one can see this would be a fun place on a summer weekend evening. Burgers, the short rib grilled cheese (sold out at the time), and the Greek spaghetti were recommended.

I ordered the spaghetti. I can see the appeal: bacon, green bell peppers and onions, and olives tossed in butter+olive oil and topped with parmesan. It was underseasoned, but still hearty (and nothing some salt and pepper couldn't help). Maddie, the server/hostess was lovely and engaging, attentive and helpful. What a fun place to visit, if you appreciate how difficult it must be to be in business since 1861.

The wedge salad tasted like they picked it from the Garden of Eden, made with the world’s best house made ranch dressing- they should bottle that Sh!T. & My drink was top-notch, served by great bartenders in a cozy brick pub, like if Cheers had a “study”. My entree was the Beef on Weck sandwich. All I can say is WHAT THE WECK WAS THAT?! So juicy! So delicious! The cooks in the back were raised RIGHT. Best kept secret in Cincinnati for sure. If you’re nice looking woman I don’t recommend you go there cuz you will not be served a drink. Also, if you are not from that area the people are rude and weird towards you. “Surprisingly wide range of food options. Had a small company Christmas party there last week. The beer selection was good,but this place is a restaurant/ bar vs a craft brewery, which is fine by me. The parking was easy also. Everyone had fun, the pool table was in nice shape, the darts were good also. We'll be back“

We also got some jalapeno mozzarella sticks, they were ok, warm not hot and didn't have that famous cheese pull. Other than that we will definitely go back and get those wings for sure.“

“We ate there last night before seeing Mac McAnally. We got there early and ordered food and beer as soon as we walked in. It was not busy but quickly filled up. We received our food within 20 minutes and it was very good. We ate and had a total of 3 beers. The total bill with a generous tip was less than $50

The secret was to order food and beer as soon as you walk in. We saw other people that were waiting a longer time because they came in when the bar was busy.

There is outside and inside seating. This was our first time here but we will be back.“
