Tried the Crazy Norse(I'm not an IPAer, but it was fantastic) and the "Route 9"(a smooth Lager) Outstanding!! 👍👍 The Cod sandwich was excellent!! Ashley's prompt support with the food and drink delivery helped to make our visit a highly enjoyable experience! We'll be back soon!!“

“We ate here for the first time last night , it was packed but we were seated right away and they moved us over to be closer to heat with no issues whatsoever; our server Emily was super sweet and the hostess as well !!! “This is my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The service and food is always on point. I get the garden hash for breakfast and either the scallops or the mushroom pasta for dinner. I love the ambiance in there as well. They have a nice outdoor area and they have areas you can rent out for parties. Highly recommend.“

“A dinner experience and vintage train ride is raar and this one was a real treat. Our group of four dressed for the part in 1940s costume and sat in the music car.
The music talent was a nod to the Andrew’s sisters of the same time period. They were excellent. Our group had prime rib with baked potatoes and green beans. A salad was served separately before the main course. All food was very tasty!
We were celebrating a birthday in our group, so the singers sang their rendition of Happy Birthday. Loved it!
The meal ended with delicious desserts to include chocolate pecan pie and strawberry cheesecake. Yum!
A history of the train and area was intertwined in our experience and was so interesting. Highly recommended this tour. Best if in a group of four as groups of two is hard to get a table set up for that because of the configuration of the train cars.“

They are all so so kind, especially the two lovely ladies who normally work register/food hand-off. “My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. Our server, Riley, was very attentive and kind and answered all of our questions about the menu. We had the calamari, ceasar salad, prime rib, and filet to eat and my boyfriend wasn't the biggest fan of the prime rib, but this place still earns 5 stars because of how good the rest of our food was! My steak was cooked perfectly, the smashed potatoes were SO good, and oddly enough they have the best croutons I've ever had. Definitely recommend and wr will be going back!“

I'm trying to lose weight and I love the salads and I go 2 or 3 times a week to get them. I end up either giving away or losing out on my free coney.“

“Was in the area for lax tournament and stopped at the little Cafe. Such a great vibe! Clean, the bathroom was super clean and spacious. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. We had the grilled chicken sandwich which was phenomenal (he is still talking about it today). I had chili and half club. Very good chili, not spicy. The club was stacked with meat. If we are down that way again would for sure visit again.“

“Spare-Time Grill is the definition of a hidden gem. From the outside alone, you can tell it’s something special — that cute, old-school diner vibe with the vintage sign just pulls you in. It feels nostalgic in the best way.

The food absolutely delivered. The burnt goetta was the star of the plate — perfectly crispy on the outside with so much flavor in every bite. The eggs were fluffy, the home fries were seasoned and cooked just right, and those pancakes were golden, buttery perfection. Everything tasted homemade and comforting.

But what really made it stand out was the service. Everyone was so genuinely kind and welcoming — we felt right at home the entire time. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they care about their customers.

“First time here. The building is definitely dated. There is a drive thru. You order at the counter. Food was very reasonably priced. The “regular” size is pretty big. Wonder how much bigger the large is. Service was extremely fast. Fountain machine to fill your drink.

Their specialty seems to be the chili pizza (did not order) and the spagoney- and cheese coney but spaghetti instead of a hotdog. Ordered this and it was good.“

Apparently they scoop this up from some premade pan and do not make it to order so you get what you get. For the price I would not order this.“
