“Very nice place. Not upscale and snooty, and not a dive, either. Smoking allowed but the place is well ventilated so nonsmokers should be OK with it. Owner is named Dirk and is very friendly and personable. He seems to hire skilled bartenders, too. Has a good selection of craft beers in stock as well as the usual stuff. Have been here several times and will continue to visit.“
“Awesome beer! We ordered a flight and thought all of the selections were great. For food, we had the roast beef sandwich and the Midwestern chicken sandwich. Both were tasty. The roast beef was very tender and flavorful...I highly recommend it!“
“OCTOBER 2023FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN IN CINCINNATIIf you're looking for a fun game to play with family (perhaps for a birthday or to take the kids after a special game), then I know the perfect spot that won't entirely break the bank: FOWLING WAREHOUSE CINCINNATI. It's a fun crossover where football meets bowling, located in an old Coca Cola warehouse in Norwood. You can pack in whatever food you'd like, because they don't have a kitchen there. Alternatively, you may have food delivered there. There is a bar for both adult and child beverages (including the old-school slushy machines for kids). Part of the proceeds go to support local charities.I cannot speak to what goes on there after dark, but on a recent trip on a Sunday afternoon for my sister's birthday we were able to play and saw kids young and old in a safe, clean environment playing together. Not sure of many places where one might see a Grandma, a high school athlete and a kid brother or sister all playing a physical game together. AND they do pay to televise Bengals and other sports on multiple projector screens and smaller TVs, so you don't have to worry about missing out on the game! They even have a few arcade games there including basketball and skee ball.NOTE: Any adults (even if you don't intend to have an adult beverage) must have a valid ID scanned at the door.PICTURED: I was too busy "FUNNING" and helping with the younger kids to take pictures. My two sisters and BILs are shown, and there's the one and only take of me with my niece (playing basketball with her basketball-related injuring sustained while playing with Grandpa) and a bonus cousin I've been slowly getting into sports. No filters, just honesty.Parking: PLENTYKid-friendliness: I believe my review speaks to this, but I will elaborate. This is a perfectly safe space for children to play games with friends and/or relatives during the day on a weekend. There are proper safety nets in place around the main play areas. For those with multiple children needing some wizardry and wardrobe or diaper changes, there's a full-sized family restroom right on the main floor. Pack in whatever food you might like for the kiddos. There's a free water station that's accessible to kids also. When I was there, all saw in the eyes and faces of every child was sheer joy.“
“Higher gravity has no shortage of top-tier craft and domestic offerings, but really shines on personality. I have been a repeat out of town customer for years, and Adam not only gives great recommendations but remembers details about prior visits. I saw that other reviews, suggested that the bathroom floor was clean enough to eat a meal on, but I have not tried that.“
“Excellent little bar for some good smoked wings and barbecue downtown. Staff are always great and the game-day atmosphere is top-notch.If you need a place to watch a game that has great food, especially any University of Michigan games, don't hesitate to stop in!“
“Look I am a river city fat kid I can eat some food. The big mushroom burger is a feast in itself. They almost need to make it into a food challenge. This thing is legit. Perfectly cooked with ample amounts of onions and mushrooms. I recommend to everyone. If you go anywhere else for a burger you wasted gas driving by this place. I received my food quickly and it was piping hot.“
“If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.“
“Awesome spot. Inviting and exciting atmosphere. Our burger and club sandwich were delicious. I love the fries! The Bloody Mary is tasty and the bartender was very attentive. We sat at the bar but there were a lot of families with children also enjoying themselves. Will definitely be back.“
“Had an incredible time at The Jester Bar & Cigar Patio in Cincinnati! The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for celebrating the black Greek community. Lee, the bartender, mixed up the most delightful drinks, and Damon Jones, the manager, ensured everything ran seamlessly. The fusion of a vibrant ambiance, top-notch service, and a fantastic cigar selection made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you're looking for a relaxed hangout or a place to commemorate special occasions, The Jester Bar & Cigar Patio is a must-visit. Can't wait to return for more good times and great conversations!“
“I luv this place and have been coming here for years! Bar service is great. Elevated quality bar food is excellent. The wings!!! Get some to go also. Thank me later! Always an electic crowd. Music appeals to all bar goers. Parking next door.“
“Its a nice spot, beer selection is OK, they don't take cash and the bartenders weren't very personable. The one when I got there at least tried to smile the one who took over later looked bothered to be there.Environment is very clean and well taken care of.No big complaints, just didn't feel welcome and probably won't come back.“
“man I loved a good themed bar! shout out to Chris for making us feel at home on a late Friday night. this place as a wonderful rotating selection of brewski with a "stock market" style approach to pricing! if you don't see anything on the "stock board" don't worry, there's another like 20 taps for you to choose from, all and a reasonable ticket!“
“First time stopped this year after Festival of Lights at the Zoo to pick up a take out order. Late 8 o'clock one hour before closing around 12/21 the holiday season. Late in the evening and holiday season the Staff were still super friendly and chatty in a neighborly way. Friend from DC area with is asked to watch the Caps hockey game, order take out, had some drinks. bartender went to a lot of effort to track it down. Took home a detroit style pepperoni. Everyone loved it. Friend from DC remarked if he lived in that Neighborhood he'd be dropping a lot of coin and spending a lot of time in Taglios :)Parking: City parking. Across the street and within close walking distance Reasonably priced pay for lots and free street parking in some areas.“
“We only went here once but we'll definitely be back! More than just bowling! There's volleyball, pool tables, an arcade, and I think I'm forgetting something, but the food (pizza) is very good! Definitely recommend going here!“
“Quaint little spot I'm Obyonville. Best chicken tenders ever. They're beer battered and fried and they are out of this world.Parking: Paid parking lot is 3.00 per hour but there's always plenty of room. Street parking available but high in demand.“
“Love Patrick's. A buddy of mine invited me there because he loves to play Keno and promised me they had really good food.So I ordered their skyline nachos. They were really good. My main dish was their breaded wings with the Asian Zing sauce. Fantastic, they were served hot and so crispy and tender. I would definitely order both items again. As it turned out I made another trip shortly after and decided on the BLT with a fried egg.Man was that good.I would highly recommend stopping in at Patrick's and ordering anything on the menu.“
“Food is top notch! Everything tastes like home made and the service is very on point. I highly recommend this place! My wife and I shared a BLT and a Ham Salad Sandwich. Both were excellent! The Onion Rings were great! We also got the Bean Soup and Corn Bread. The soup was probably one of the best I’ve ever had.“
“Solid sports bar with terrific food. Cheese coney is on point. Chili fries are dynamite. But the chicken tenders with sweet Thai chili dipping sauce are where it's at for us. Great drinks. Narraganasett on draft. Rotating selection of slushes. And we love their popcorn machine! Bartenders are amazing. Second Place is just a really solid neighborhood spot to watch a Reds game or FC|C match. It's one of our Northside favorites.“
“Great little hole in the wall spot. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly bartender and patrons. Highly recommended. Also a really good bourbon selection for such a small spot. Definitely worth the visit.Parking: Easy to get in and out of and right off 75.“
“I like it there but the beer was not very cold they must not rotate their when they restock their beer other than that it is okay I need to figure out a way to make their beer cold or they will lose business cuz I won't go back if the where is not cold“
“This bar is beautiful. The owner has done so many upgrades and it's so well done. The ceiling the floor and the walls are gorgeous. There is lots of bourbon beers and it's a neighborhood place to relax and have fun. Give this place a try and talk with the owner he is a delight and true gentleman“
“The Filson is amazing the atmosphere is Great Our server was great very interactive and made sure we enjoyed everything. Now the food was great there Grippo wings will keep me coming back. The uber pretzel with the hot cheese sauce was ? I could drink that sauce ?. All around great experience!!!“
“Great little place for quick Mex. The guac, salsa, and queso were all really good. Small place, impressed they have both Modelo and Dos Equis Amber on draft. Plus lots of bottled beer. Some Mex joints struggle to carry good Mex beer. Recommend for a quick bite. Order at counter, food is delivered to table.“
“Great family owned and operated pub. Solid standard food options like burgers, wings, and various sandwiches and salads. You will find something you like on the menu 100%. The food is consistently good and fresh. But the highlight is the staff. They are very engaging and friendly. They remember your name and make you feel like part of the family. St Bernard Pub feels like home. My lunch crew and I try to eat here once a week.“
“With them being a new establishment the service was a bit slow... BUUTTT the $5 Margs and Southwest egg rolls WE'RE FIRE!! The wings were perfectly tasty and the loaded fries did not skimp on cheese or bacon! We will be back even if its for carryout only!“
“Great watering hole.Friendly bartenders, tv's to watch sports, affordably priced, easy-going patrons, dart boards, and a strong music selection.Olde Towne Tavern is quickly becoming one of my favorite bars in Covington.Entrances on either side of the building; metered parking on the street.“
“Food was awesome our server Melody, by the way Good Luck at UC. Graduation. Was outstanding, polite . This was our 1st. Time , and we will be back. House margaritas were very satisfying. Good luck to El Barrill and our Server Melody, also this restaurant is Pet Friendly.“
“Where to begin... a family place if I've ever seen one. You've got the locals that know everyone there, you've got uncle Mike and his meat sticks and don't forget grandpa John and the haunting figure of someone's grandma hanging over the bar. The bartender I think his name was Chad friendliest guy you'll ever meet, makes a mean whisky on the rocks. Also the pizza joint next door is fantastic or maybe it was just the drinks but either way it was a good time.“
“Cool place with terrific food and great service. Good number of TV's and tables for the overall size of the place. Had the large pep and onion pizza and the large Parmesan bread sticks pizza sauce and garlic butter for lunch and leftovers. All of it was delicious and there was plenty to take home. Our server answered all the questions we had and provided us with a number of recommendations. Plenty of beer options as well. Cool joint and will definitely be back.“
“The service was good, burger also cooked great. Weird experience being put upstairs, having to carry a baby in a pumpkin seat and then putting us in the middle table where people were bumping into us. Moved downstairs and got awesome service, pretzel the first time was shriveled on the outside and hard on the inside, not sure how that left the kitchen, but corrected pretzel was delicious. Burger was a perfect medium cook and made up for the bad start. This location will now be my go to.Parking: No matter where you park you will have to walk.“
“Amanda was so amazing. She made me laugh to the point of peeing my pants. I was embarrassed and was about to go home, but she offered me a clean pair of underwear to put on so I could continue to hang out. She said she doesn’t wear underwear herself so I’m very curious as to whose panties I put on. They smelled clean though so it was fine. She really took customer service to the next level.“
“Probably the third best NY style pizza in Cincinnati. The sauce and crust were both very good! Cheese was ok and I thought there was a bit too much garlic, but that’s just a personal preference. The biggest downside is the price - $28 for an 18inch margherita is a bit steep, especially compared to the competition. Overall though it was a solid pie - will be back to try their Detroit style pepperoni + hot honey, which seems to be their signature.“
“This is a college bar far from a college. Amazing wings and often poor service. Still the bar food is often worth it. When you order smoked wings you get a set of sauces you can try or mix. They are amazing. If the place is too busy, walk to the bar across the street. It has the same ownership and uses the same kitchen.“
“Awesome sports bar. It's always fun at Game Time. Great place to hang with friends, enjoy delicious food, and have some drinks. Good music and sometimes live music. Reasonable prices and great service. Plenty of TV's to watch whatever game interests you. They have some arcade games, a couple of pool tables, and a few dart games set up. They have a nice outdoor patio and sand volleyball set up out back. There's plenty of parking nearby and out front. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathrooms could use cleaning more. Sounds like any bar bathroom, though. Other than that, I love going here with friends on the weekends when we can all get together.“
“Had a wonderful time here, really nice folks. It's nothing fancy, but as far as local dives go, I highly recommend if you happen to be in the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: There are no real vegetarian options. This is a dive bar, I wouldn't recommend coming here for the food.Kid-friendliness: This is a local dive bar. I guess you could bring your kids, but I wouldn't really recommend it.“
“The remodel is fantastic! Great music by regional & local bands on Friday & Sat nights. Also, if you want food Poseidon's Pizza is right next door, they will deliver to your table. To the owner, I really like what you have done and having live music is fantastic.“
“Butch's was great! We went there for the 1st time for a few beers and to watch some football. We were sitting at a bar and a man came and introduced himself- Butch. He was very friendly and funny and talked to us for 3 hours. It's a bar filled w locals - very friendly people - Butch introduced us to all of them. It felt like we were at Cheers and was a very fun scene. Carla (bartender) was super attentive and the drinks were inexpensive. And Butch provides a spread on game days. - we had wings from Webb's (delicious!), meatballs and queso - all on the house! It was a great experience and we will def go back! Thanks Butch!J&J“
“I went to lunch with a large family group. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was quiet enough that we could all talk and hear the conversation. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the loaded fries appetizer. The toppings were good but the fries themselves were a bit over cooked and chewy. I did get to try a bite of the fish though and that was really tasty. If I'm ever on that side of town again I would absolutely order the fish and chips.“
“I ordered food and a draft at the bar. 45 mins later I was asked if I had ordered food. It was packed to go and had been sitting for about 20 mins. That is a service issue but now the fries and bread were soggy. So I ate at the bar out of the to-go boxesThe sub was great, classic Italian with wonderful dressing on the side. The "Schriber Calzone" was also great. Good crust and generous fillings. Fries were inedible through.“
“I really like this place. The drinks are cheap, bartenders are friendly, and Pac Man for a quarter. Usually pretty laid back during the week, but can get lively on weekends. Nothing flashy or hip, just a little neighborhood hole in the wall done just right.“
“The bowling was fine. Once we got to bowl. It was a Saturday but I had called in advance and was told there wouldn't be a problem getting a lane. Get there and it's an hour and a half wait. The Manger was rude to me and several other people there. She didn't seem to be aware of how bad her people skills were. Food was typical bowling alley food.“
“I really wasn’t going to comment or post anything but the situation has stuck with me through the weekend and I feel as I should. I will post on an anonymous account as I’m not sure they might recognize me. I don’t know who this will reach, I hope it is the correct people. As I was dining in this week, there seemed to be a misunderstanding with a food item a young women at the bar was eating. From what I learned after the commotion, the kitchen lady didn’t feel like or maybe she was unable to do a task the bartender asked of her. The bartender seemed to be nice about the situation but the cook lady was not! She not only shouted at the bartender angrily but also into the restaurant for everyone to hear. Which in turn seemed to fluster and embarrass that poor young girl. It was very disrespectful and very childish if you ask me the way the cook lady acted. Later shortly after that the cook lady then came out of the kitchen shouting loudly again that “yes I did scream at her, I did” like she was proud to be acting so trashy in the workplace. The bartender on the other hand was very calm and professional and I can’t say I would of been myself if I was spoken to that way. I would not of blamed her if she hadn’t been so adult about it in my opinion. There was another bartender there that didn’t seem to participate in the rant but did mumble something about crazy something or other. That cook lady should be let go. Never experienced anything like that from a restaurant before!“
“I’ve been coming to this location before this bar existed here. Most bars in the spot were rough and not enjoyable. However InBetween Tavern is easily the best bar that’s ever been in this location. The atmosphere was amazing. The bartenders Scotty, MJ, and Jelissa were absolutely phenomenal and charming. And the food was out of this world, I will be coming back often.“
“The Dilly is one of our favorite restaurants! We visit Mariemont about four times a year. It is our secret hideaway. We always eat at The Dilly for supper one night. The atmosphere is very hip and modern. We've tried many items on the menu, but our favorites are the Beer Cheese (apples are the best for dipping) and the Fish & Chips (HUGE PORTION). There is always a large selection of beers (local, craft, and standard) and many, many wines to choose from. During the summer we prefer to enjoy our meal on the patio. Service is always fantastic...Tyler is our favorite server.“
“Fun local joint. Very towny bar feel. Excellent burgers. Asked for medium rare and they nailed it. The waffle fries are crisp and delicious. Their waffle fries are what I wish you would get at chic filet. Crisp outside while soft inside. Perfection!“
“Very friendly staff relaxing patio with a nice fire feature in the middle of the table and everyone there was very welcoming and friendly:-)Parking: There is a paid parking lot around the corner that you can use in case you cannot find any parking on the street parking on the street is a bit difficult at times“
“Really good food and the Kentucky Mules and spicy Bloody Mary I had were off the charts. We will be back sooner rather then later.Today 2/11/24...On Saturday and Sunday they offer a brunch type that's not on the menu is an omlet meal. You can get and omelet with any of their pizza toppings, tator tots, toast and choice a Bloody Mary or something else to drink. Fantastic.“
