“Password protected WiFi is great and far reaching. However it is the most unreliable place I have ever been when it comes to having what they claim on the menu. And sometimes they close up early if people go home earlier than posted hours.“
“O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“

“I don’t often give 5 stars but this place does deserve it. The atmosphere is quite unique with custom chairs and booths. I had the Tuesday special which was $2 tacos - chicken, steak, pork and el pastor-so good. Unfortunately there was not a fish taco but what they did have was excellent. My husband had fajitas-so much food came sizzling to the table. Really a place not to be missed when in the area.“
“Really good food and the Kentucky Mules and spicy Bloody Mary I had were off the charts. We will be back sooner rather then later.Today 2/11/24...On Saturday and Sunday they offer a brunch type that's not on the menu is an omlet meal. You can get and omelet with any of their pizza toppings, tator tots, toast and choice a Bloody Mary or something else to drink. Fantastic.“

“Great little place for quick Mex. The guac, salsa, and queso were all really good. Small place, impressed they have both Modelo and Dos Equis Amber on draft. Plus lots of bottled beer. Some Mex joints struggle to carry good Mex beer. Recommend for a quick bite. Order at counter, food is delivered to table.“
“I went to lunch with a large family group. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was quiet enough that we could all talk and hear the conversation. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the loaded fries appetizer. The toppings were good but the fries themselves were a bit over cooked and chewy. I did get to try a bite of the fish though and that was really tasty. If I'm ever on that side of town again I would absolutely order the fish and chips.“

Owner is named Dirk and is very friendly and personable. He seems to hire skilled bartenders, too. Has a good selection of craft beers in stock as well as the usual stuff. “I really wasn’t going to comment or post anything but the situation has stuck with me through the weekend and I feel as I should. I will post on an anonymous account as I’m not sure they might recognize me. I don’t know who this will reach, I hope it is the correct people. As I was dining in this week, there seemed to be a misunderstanding with a food item a young women at the bar was eating. From what I learned after the commotion, the kitchen lady didn’t feel like or maybe she was unable to do a task the bartender asked of her. The bartender seemed to be nice about the situation but the cook lady was not! She not only shouted at the bartender angrily but also into the restaurant for everyone to hear. Which in turn seemed to fluster and embarrass that poor young girl. It was very disrespectful and very childish if you ask me the way the cook lady acted. Later shortly after that the cook lady then came out of the kitchen shouting loudly again that “yes I did scream at her, I did” like she was proud to be acting so trashy in the workplace. The bartender on the other hand was very calm and professional and I can’t say I would of been myself if I was spoken to that way. I would not of blamed her if she hadn’t been so adult about it in my opinion. There was another bartender there that didn’t seem to participate in the rant but did mumble something about crazy something or other. That cook lady should be let go. Never experienced anything like that from a restaurant before!“

“This is your typical hole in the wall bar, aesthetically it's nothing special, offers pretty standard drink selections, bartenders have always been pleasant. But karaoke nights here are my so freaking fun & we've had some of my favorite nights here!“

“We went there because we'd heard their Wednesday special, Taco salads, were awesome. Or waitress didn't know they had a taco salad, asked her to check, what do you know, they do. Okay, maybe she's new. When it came, it was a total disappointment. Large fried bowl, great! Maybe 3 oz of slightly burnt taco beef,a sprinkling of cheese and light sprinkling of shredded lettuce. Someone with us has had their taco salads and get face fell. She said that at lunch it is a very full fried bowl with several side toppings. What a total disappointment! Although I felt our waitress was not very good, I think they have their staff spread out over the whole restaurant, not just one area. They were all running all over... Poor management there.“
“Can be either cozy or crowded at times but the drinks aren't bad or expensive. The busier the night the more likely the dress code will be enforced but for the most part this is a nice chill environment with a mixed crowd playing mostly hip hop.“
