“I was invited to a retirement party at Longshots. The food was catered in from the grill there. There were jalapenos poppers, chicken fingers and small slider type sandwiches. It was all good.They closed about half of the seating off for our party. The folks at the bar were extremely friendly and service was very fast.It was my first visit to longshots, it's a very typical bar and grill with decent drink prices. We will definitely be stopping back.“

“First off, let me give you some important information. There are two sides of the bar. The left side, “Home” has a larger bar feel. The right side, “Away” has a more restaurant feel to it. People on here were complaining that nobody took their order. Well, you have to go up to the counter to place your order, have your number called, and then pick up your food and bring it to your party. Let me tell ya, the portion sizes are great and everything tasted amazing!!! The only reason why I gave this place 4 out of 5 stars was because it cost me $40 for two people. “Where to begin... a family place if I've ever seen one. You've got the locals that know everyone there, you've got uncle Mike and his meat sticks and don't forget grandpa John and the haunting figure of someone's grandma hanging over the bar. The bartender I think his name was Chad friendliest guy you'll ever meet, makes a mean whisky on the rocks. Also the pizza joint next door is fantastic or maybe it was just the drinks but either way it was a good time.“

“We had a family of 5 dine in. We went on a weekend night and thought it would be crowded. It was not at all. However, it is still early in the season. Our waitress took our order, but did not write anything down. It was all from memory. We noticed all of the waitresses doing this. While waiting for our order, a lot of the tables were saying they ordered things that did not come out or their order was not right. When our order came out, my 3 kids and I had food on the table, but my husband had to tell the waitress what he ordered again. While my children and I ate, my husband snacked on our food. We were almost done eating before my husband's food came out. The food we did eat was yummy. However, if they would write the orders down, they wouldn't have messed up as many orders as they did. We sat on the patio. It had a beautiful view of the lake. You can also play volleyball while waiting for your food. After eating with our kids, we played at the playground that is not far from the restaurant.“

The bartender lady was super friendly, and was handling drink and food orders for the whole bar. “Awesome sports bar. It's always fun at Game Time. Great place to hang with friends, enjoy delicious food, and have some drinks. Good music and sometimes live music. Reasonable prices and great service. Plenty of TV's to watch whatever game interests you. They have some arcade games, a couple of pool tables, and a few dart games set up. They have a nice outdoor patio and sand volleyball set up out back. There's plenty of parking nearby and out front. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathrooms could use cleaning more. Sounds like any bar bathroom, though. Other than that, I love going here with friends on the weekends when we can all get together.“

Champions Grille is in a strip mall on the west side and truth be told, we don't venture out to this side of town much since for restaurants. Let me tell you, though, it's worth coming here! Definitely a sports bar kind of vibe, but we loved all the memorabilia on the walls and it feels quite homey - like a place you want to be and spend time in. There's lots of tv's on the walls all around and would definitely be a place to go for any given sports game day. Free popcorn (huge plus for us, we love some popcorn!) is available, which is great if you're here to have a drink and watch a game. We were able to get seated right away and our server was great. Super friendly and checked in with us throughout.We decided to try out Champions for Burger Week 2023 and glad we did! For burger week they had Champ Boy (1/3 lb beef burger topped with American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles and homemade tartar sauce) and Sriracha Bourbon Burger (1/3 lb beef burger topped with provolone cheese, crispy onion straws, and a sriracha bourbon sauce). I went with the Champ Boy on a gluten free bun (something they always offer, yay!) and my husband got the Sriracha Bourbon Burger. I really enjoyed the Champ Boy and my husband said the Sriracha Bourbon Burger was really good and had a good kick to it. We also got a basket of tots to split between us, which were really tasty - perfectly cooked crispy.We will definitely be coming back here and have it on our short list for places to come for burgers any time!“

“Quite literally my favorite wings of all time. Sauces: Might be the difference maker. For one they don't "go easy" on the amount. I always have some sauce left over on the bottom of the tray. Not an over powering amount but just enough. The flavors are just out of this world. I get Hot Buffalo and Teriyaki. The Teriyaki is incredibly sweet, and the Hot Buffalo is the perfect combination of both. The Wings: Uniform in size. Nothing too big or too little. Easy to cut with a fork. Perhaps more breading on the outer layer but doesn't bother me. They hire high schoolers to cook these in the back so they don't always get the temperature right but rarely an occurrence for me. The Ranch: a great compliment, it's not wing stop ranch but it's damn close. The Waffle Fries & Cheese: pretty unique combo. I love the idea of using waffle fries instead of your standard French fry. Unfortunately the cheese hardens up and doesn't fill up a full layer on top, for both reasons I would stick to a standard size of these instead of a basket of them. Plenty of excellent beers on tap. Inside is a great atmosphere and surround sound is some of the best I've heard in a sports bar. The patio area is pretty underwhelming. The TVs are all on one half of the room so depending on your seating you may be turn around the whole game. Otherwise there isn't anything they can do about it. Crossroads deserves much better than a 2 or 3 out of 5. Half of the reviews are a bunch of East-Siders upset about the self-service or cheap utensils. This place is a gem“

“We went to celebrate a birthday, a 2-year-old girl spilled a glass of swet tea on the table and the waitress was very rude, she did not want to clean up, she started talking to us very beaten, we had to ask another waitress because she treated us very badly and still mocked us“

“We did carryout from this TGIF's but had to order in person after ordering via the web failed to accept a valid gift card. The gift card was accepted at the restaurant. On a positive note the staff that took my order were very nice and pulled it together quickly. The part of the restaurant I saw was nicely decorated and pretty busy for early evening. The food we had when we arrived home was good.“
