“I had a lot of people recommend this place to me. I don’t drink so I can’t comment on that part. Food was ok, nothing special. My wife said grilled cheese had too much bread. Service was good. Flat bread apple pie and ice cream was good.“
“This place was very popular and I couldn't see why. The food and service were very good. The portions were more than enough had to take stuff home.I only have one negative. I did love the option of getting a text message when a seat was available. It gave me the opportunity to sit in the car while waiting due to back issues. But when they called us in, we had to wait another fifteen minutes standing, and that was difficult on my back.“
“Celebrated my birthday at Holly Hill. Staff was so kind and attentive. Had a beautiful 3 course meal with wine pairing. Then we decided to add the cheese plate. The local cheeses- especially Kenny’s were amazing. The sunchoke bisque with carrot top pesto was SO good! Pacing of service was great too. Such a warm, inviting little retreat!“
“The best. Heirloom has been consistently the best restaurant since 2006. It never disappoints. Lexington has great restaurants but Midway is the quintessential KY town and Heirloom is the Midway gem. Gretchen never disappoints with the superb service.“

“Was an awesome stay, rooms was very clean and Juana from room service did an excellent job keeping fresh towels stocked up for us, bed made, etc. But the all star of my stay was Abbey at the restaurant bar. She recommended the burger which was large and awesome along with beverages, she was very attentive, detail oriented, knowledgeable and friendly. I wish everyone that worked at the Marriott were like this and very well informed. The free bourbon tastings from 4-6 was a cool thing I have never experienced before.“

“Abnormally noisy but that's what happen when a group goes from happy hour to table. They just ended up seated at a bad location where in gregarious person ruined dinner for a whole room. But the food was excellent and service outstanding so let's just right this one off to a loud drunk being at the wrong place this time The quiet ambiance is what sets this place apart from other places where you can enjoy the old house and beautiful architecture.“
