Michael was a fantastic! Great recommendations !!
We really enjoyed our time at Char! The atmosphere is beautiful. Service is friendly but a little slow- could've been an off night! It took about 40 minutes to get our first drink but after that- everything came out pretty quickly. We would wait just as long because the drinks and food were EXCEPTIONAL! We will be back.

Based on the reviews, Char on Ashland offers an amazing experience from start to finish. The food is phenomenal and absolutely delicious, with specific meals like Duck Meatloaf with fig jam, gnocchi, braised lamb short ribs, and rigatoni all being out of this world. The service is the best, with an incredible and attentive staff, from the bussers to the owner. The cocktails are carefully curated, and the Char Star Tini is a must with its perfect tartness. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the setting reminds diners of being in Europe. Everything is made in house from scratch and locally. This spot is a must go in Lexington and a great way to spend an evening.
