“We stopped in North Lime while passing through. If we lived in the area, it would be one of our regular spots. The latte had great flavor and creamy foam. They roast beans in-house, and I was convinced to buy a bag. I can't wait to try my purchase of Beans of Haste! We arrived too late to try the special March Madness doughnuts, so we went with glazed. This is not your basic glazed doughnut. Just amazing flavors and mouth feel! My taste buds were singing! Delightful! North Lime is now on my list of mandatory stops whenever we pass through the area!“

“I got a Salted Caramel Oatmilk Iced Latte on 7/13/26 and oh my goodness was it perfection!! The sweetness level was just right, the espresso wasn't burnt, the oatmilk was creamy.
If I lived in Lexington and wasn't just visiting, I'd go there all the time!“

“Stopped in after seeing a reel back in November about the pancakes with the bourbon maple syrup. They lived up to the hype. The orange zest was such a perfect addition. My husband got the breakfast burrito (and added apricot jam on top since he doesn’t like spicy… not that the green salsa was imo 🙄). Our waitress, Carmen, described the menu with so much detail and hype that we wanted to order one of everything. Honestly it felt like watching a performance. We ended up sharing the breakfast potatoes w/ cheese and it’s like the most adultish, upgraded version of my childhood favorite McDonald’s hash brown. And I mean that as a high compliment. Also the banana bread latte was delicious and the perfect finish to the meal. We will definitely be back!“

“I stopped into a neat little breakfast spot called El Café, and I was genuinely impressed. The lady who took my order was incredibly kind and professional. It’s refreshing to see a small shop take such care in preparing food. Everything was fresh and well-presented, and they even gave me hot water for my tea without me asking. Great service, cozy atmosphere—highly recommend!“

“I have to leave a review after our experience. My little one didn’t want to let go of my cell phone so that the guy taking my order could complete the transaction... I was distracted and a little embarrassed trying to handle everything, as it tends to sometimes go for us.. but Cameron couldn’t have been more professional and genuine. He smiled and shrugged off what many people would have found to be an annoyance. He also swept up the bracelet that was broken in the shuffle of it all. 😊 Thank you, Cameron!“

“This is my favorite local Starbucks, hands down. I always grab a table here when I need a change of scenery to focus on work. The atmosphere is bright and clean—I love the marble tabletops!
The real star is the coffee. I ordered the Cold Brew, and it was perfectly smooth and strong. It hit the spot and gave me the energy boost I needed to power through my afternoon tasks on my laptop“

“I discovered PJ’s Coffee because of a friend and It has turned into one of my favorite coffee shops on the university of Kentucky’s campus. As a student, it is in a very convenient location as it is on my way to several of my classes. I struggled to find it at first because it is in the business building but other than that I have never experienced an issue here. The staff is beyond friendly and always goes out of their way to make everyone’s day brighter! One of my favorite drinks from here is the peach tea. As simple as it is it is a great pick me up during the day. I do enjoy the coffee as well and they have a pretty good variety of food! There is no seating in the actual shop but right outside of it there is a huge area where students are always sitting and can enjoy their coffee there as well. I would consider this place as a hidden gem whether you are a student or not!“

“Was going through Lexington to see my family and this place caught my eye, curiousity killed the cat, had to see what it was about.. Very friendly staff and plenty of cool things to buy. Loved the candles and drip recipes.. Ower was a very beautiful lady who was extremely polite and helped me with choosing frim the menu. When it go back I would love to try their different varieties of their tea. Thanks again ladys ??“

Took about 10 minutes to get through the line even though there was only two cars in front of us. Not sure if they were understaffed or there was an insane with an order ahead of us.“
“A small but complete Starbucks tucked away inside a Kroger store. It's a busy Kroger, so parking is not super easy. There aren't enough tables, so it is mainly a take out or drink while you shop operation. They can check out your groceries for you if you don't have many and are grabbing a coffee on the way out.“

“The worse starbucks in the city. Theo was horrible and incompetent on Thursday August 5th morning. Missed my pick up order and then argued that I should be in que as her missing it was not the problem. Sad, coz this is the closest starbucks but will not be going back again because of horrible and disrespectful customer service who refuse to see their own mistakes.“
