Dudley's and owner Debbie Long are Lexington legends. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderful, the service is impeccable, and the food is amazing - ALWAYS!!!
We had an excellent experience at Dudley's. From the minute we walked in the door the service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! We will definitely be back!
wonderful experience until we got to our car to go home, Despite circling the area several times and finding a parking spot that we thought was good (neither of us could find that this was a paid spot) we had a ticket!! I disputed it to no avail so unfortunately we will go to those restaurants where we can find a parking spot! So unfortunate!

The tuxedo sundae is outstanding and the star of the show. The filet mignon is another highlight. The atmosphere is beautiful and conducive to conversation. Servers are attentive, personable, and delightful. It is a perfect spot for a brunch with wonderful fresh cinnamon raisin muffins and lemon poppyseed scones. The hot brown is a great choice. The daily special, like the swordfish, is perfect with great flavors and presentation. They also offer a happy anniversary cake slice with ice cream. Overall, Dudley's On Short offers a memorable dining experience, focusing on seasonal and local offerings with a Southern spin. It's a must-do when in Lexington.
