50 Best Pizza Restaurants in Lexington

“First time to eat here. Simply put, the food was delicious! Loved the wings, pizza, Greek salad, and the Brussels & Taters. I highly recommend PieTana.“

“am very pocky with my Pizza & cheese. the thickness was good for me. the sauce is delicious & variation of pizzas is very good. you can order bigger pizzas for catering. i will be visiting more often! the staff is making a lot of effort to make people happy!“

“Thrilled to discover Rosati’s pizza in Lexington! As a Chicago area transplant to Lexington 15 years ago the thing I missed the most was the pizza. I used to get Rosati’s every Friday back in Chicago. Did you know that Chicago has awesome thin crust pizza? The crust, the sauce, the cheese, and omg the sausage!!! Kevin, so glad you brought Chicago pizza to Lexington!!! I’m in south Jessamine county and I’ll drive the 40 minutes to get the best pizza in Kentucky!“

“excellent food. one of the best pizzas we've had in Kentucky hands down. freshly made, super quick and always delicious. staff are amazing with kids and friendly and entire place is super clean and relaxed and comfortable. highly recommend“

“Great place for a pizza or grinder, always a hit!“

“Fiona at the bar took great care of us during an afternoon stop. Food and service were five star! Highly recommend.“

“A great place to grab a slice!“

“Love this fazoli’s. The food is always hot and fresh, and the staff is super friendly. Gracie is awesome and always makes the experience better — she’s quick, helpful, and has such a good attitude. The breadsticks are always on point and the service is fast“

“Tried this place for the first time today. The best pizza in Lexington! Definitely recommend the NY-Hand tossed crust!“

“This was our first time trying Parlour. Our son picked it as a place to celebrate his birthday. It was a Sunday afternoon and it went very busy at all. Olivia was our server and she was fantastic! We downloaded the app to get free breadsticks and we enjoyed them so much that we ordered a second order of them. The garlic butter was a nice addition! My husband and I had the bacon chicken ranch pizza and we both agreed it was among the best we’ve ever tried. The boys (3 of them from tween to 18) all loved their cheese pizza. It’s so nice when the whole family enjoys their meal! We will definitely be going back! 🧡“

“My three daughters and I ate at Smashing Tomato last night and as usual the food was absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding. We’re so lucky to have real Neapolitan pizza restaurant in Lex.“

“The atmosphere was very clean, nice & quiet, they had lots of outside seating as well which was so pretty! They only had size small (4 Pieces) $11 & regular size (6 Pieces) for $15. We also grabbed a $7 Cinnamod Pizza which tastes so good! They had lots of toppings to choose from & the pizza tasted great as well! The only reason i gave a 4/5 was the crust/dough is really thin, but thats about it.
Also Kids eat free every sunday !“

“It is usually my favorite place to eat but today's experience wasn't good. The food was cold and hard.“

“One of our team members said, "My favorite restaurant in all of Lexington. Great food, great staff, great prices. The vegan chocolate pudding is heaven in a bowl!"“

“Some of the best food that Lexington, Ky has to offer!“

“We are from NYC and this is the best pizza just like from NYC. Excellent sauce cheese pepperoni and good oil on top. The best!!! You have to go there . hugh slices too. Good and hot too mouth watering pizza“

“We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed our meals very much. Unfortunately, last night did not go as well. We sat in a booth where I had a clear view of the food prep area as the swinging door into the area did not close when a staff member entered. As we were waiting for our food, I watched and an employee sitting inside the door was on his phone and vaping the entire time, until he finally got up and moved out of sight. The service was slower than we have experienced in the past, seemed very disorganized. Not to mention that the metal wall next to our booth was filthy.“

“Amazing food, I had the calzatos, dough and sauce are great. My buddy got a large pizza. I normally hate thin crust because its too hard and more like a tortilla chip than pizza crust. Donatos has the BEST thin crust I have ever had. Somehow its just as dough as hand tossed but hard enough to support the toppings...
Mind blown. Even though im from out of town, If im in Lexington and want pizza, I know where to go. I want to try everything on the menu!“

“Have been here 3 times already. Very nice friendly staff, food is great , reasonably priced. Love the fact I can order on line and schedule pick up for a later date. Will defiantly be ordering again.“

“Kid friendly atmosphere and tasty pizza!“

“Only reason I'm leaving four stars and I'm saying this so I hope it gets fixed I noticed the poor gothic girl was getting picked on by the other staff and I don't appreciate that being Gothic myself aside from that the food and stuff is great but the team really doesn't need to be picking on someone“

“We've enjoyed our visits here with other families and for kids play dates with friends. Food is refreshed regularly along the salad and pasta bars. They will make you a custom topping pizza if you don't see what you want. Think there's 10 different varieties of pizza. Just ask upon arrival! The baked ziti topped with melted cheese one of my favorites. They have root beer as well! The games are fun and there's a good selection for all age groups. The theater room is great for little ones, but dont forget about the sports room with the big screen, trivia, and other TVs. Seems like it would be a great place for work, team, school or class events and birthdays. Looks like they could seat over 200 people.“

“Great service and good first time there melissa was great help ordering“

“whomever is putting out the pizzas tonight is killing it ! Just got a large meat lovers that was absolutely LOADED!! Great Job !“

“MAY 16, 2022...One of the best Giovanni's we've eat at.. Service very curtious. Very clean place. We received the exact food we ask for. Would rate it a 5 star.. 5 being best“

“We absolutely loved our experience at Joe Bologna’s! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stunning stained glass windows that beautifully showcase the charm of the historic church setting. They were incredibly accommodating to our group of 10, which we truly appreciated. The staff was fantastic, and Luke, our server, made the visit especially memorable—full of personality, attentive, and spot-on with his recommendations. And the food? Absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Lexington.“

“While visiting Lexington we wanted to try something new So this was our First time trying Jets Pizza The Store was clean Employees were friendly and helpful Pizza was delicious Highly recommend“

“While the old man can be grouchy he puts a great spin on it that wil give you that home town pizza vibe which honestly is fantastic. The price may seem a few dollars more than the main stream pizza places but they are far more filling better details to the dough and sauce you will find that it fills you up about twice as much as if you went else where. Always satisfied with the service and pizza and it taste even better the next day when reheated too.

Vegetarian options: Depends on if you can eat cheese they have veggie pizza heck will even make them without cheese as long as your polite they will make it anyway you specify right then and there but be clear and simple on the instructions.“

“Always the best, fast delivery, pizza cooked to perfection, can’t say enough great things about this location. Delivery drivers are always polite and courteous. I’ve lived near here for 8 years now, order pizza about 1X a month, may have had one order wrong (online order so who knows what happened) but 99% of the time, it’s perfect.“

“I had the Italian sandwich and it was good, just too much dressing for me. Fries were crispy and delicious.

Service was good. She was attentive but not in your face the whole time.

Atmosphere was nice. Not too loud.“

“I keep trying to give you all a chance because the food is actually delicious but every single time I have ordered the order has been wrong. This time, the staff (including the red headed manager) were rude and the food took multiple hours when we were told 40 minutes. Do better! Or don't, I won't be back again and I'd say the 20 other customers who complained while I was there waiting, won't be back either! It's a darn shame, so much potential.“

“Service was excellent best spaghetti sauce blue cheese is like my moms reasonable price delicious“

“I had a great experience at the Richmond Road (Lexington) location on February 20, 2026. A big part of that was thanks to the server, Rachel B. She greeted me with genuine warmth and positive energy that immediately made me feel welcome. Throughout the meal, she was attentive in the best way—checking in thoughtfully, answering questions with patience, and making sure everything was just right. I especially appreciated how valued she made me feel. Great food matters, but service like this is what truly makes a restaurant stand out. Rachel’s professionalism and kindness made the visit memorable. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Great new York style pizza! crumbled sausage was fantastic. Will be back for sure.“

“This Store has an absolute best team I have ever encountered at any of the Donatos locally. They are super sweet and you can tell they actually care about their job By how amazing the food taste if you have to go to any location definitely go to this one because you will be treated in such an impeccable way that just makes you feel welcome and the fact that the food taste amazing. It’s just a cherry on top.“

“Some of the best pizza 🍕 ever. Everyone must try the BBQ chicken it really is to die for.“

“The food as always is awesome. The ingredients are hot and fresh. The delivery is always on time. I’ve also eaten at the restaurant and the place is clean and the service is great. I definitely will return and also will order food for delivery again. I would recommend this place for pizza to anyone who is interested in ordering great pizza!“

“The service here was wonderful, everyone was friendly especially Aaron, he made sure we had everything we needed and came to check on us through out our meal. The food was really good and correct the first time, there was no wait time prior to ordering and the dining area was neat and clean. I would definitely recommend others to come here.“

“Stopped in The Jockey last night and had a great experience. Drinks prices weren't inflated because of the location. Right in the middle of downtown. Bartender was super friendly and attentive. Got a pizza from Rise Up Pizza kitchen (a separate entity apparently) and it was amazing! Will definitely return asap. I'm a Lexington native and will definitely be a new "regular" Highly recommend“

“Hands down the best Casey's in Lexington Kentucky. The kitchen manager is amazing. She's always smiling and has the most beautiful eyes. The food is top shelf, I don't think gas station food when I'm eating at this Casey's.“
