Midway Kentucky is a beautiful quaint town with vibrant shops and restaurants. We love spending an afternoon walking around and almost always stop at The Goose and Gander for lunch. Very nice place for a small town experience, I expectedly nice and wide ranging menu. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food was excellent and cost was reasonable.Vegetarian options: Options were available, not many but they were there. Veggie burger was very tasty.Parking: At busier times, parking will be a challenge; anytime during horse racing season, this town is popular. During mid-week, off-season, it's highly accessible. We were brought to this restaurant by a good friend. It was a pleasant evening around 7pm, so we chose an outdoor table, amongst other tables of guests, who also seemed to enjoy the fresh air. Service was quite fast with drinks and entree. We ordered, the meat loaf, friend fish fillet and the bacon cheese burger. All the servings were good size and tasted really good. I really like the flavor and taste of the buger.
