“The best. Heirloom has been consistently the best restaurant since 2006. It never disappoints. Lexington has great restaurants but Midway is the quintessential KY town and Heirloom is the Midway gem. Gretchen never disappoints with the superb service.“
“I always love the food here. The menu is never same ols, run of the mill. Everything I have eaten here ranges from very good to omg so delicious! My favorite is salmon BLT. We drive from Frankfort just found out one opened in Frankfort. Next time!“
“We showed up late on a Monday night, hour before close. And yet the kitchen came out with 2 killer main dishes with extraordinary flavors, 2 salads prepared with stellar presentation paired with warm and friendly service. Will be back for more, they seem to have a good pizza menu.“
“Abnormally noisy but that's what happen when a group goes from happy hour to table. They just ended up seated at a bad location where in gregarious person ruined dinner for a whole room. But the food was excellent and service outstanding so let's just right this one off to a loud drunk being at the wrong place this time The quiet ambiance is what sets this place apart from other places where you can enjoy the old house and beautiful architecture.“
“Hidden Gem alert!! First off- the prices are an incredible value. My son and I stopped by early to watch the horses train and stumbled across this amazing place. The staff are so friendly and the food is exactly what you want on a crisp spring morning. They are here to provide food for the many folks of Keenland, but we were welcomed and felt right at home dining. If you are a horse aficionado or just a novice the restaurant had picture of horses and jockeys scattered on the walls and a rich history of Keenland.Don't let the nice price fool ya...this is southern cooking at its finest!!Vegetarian options: They have different options.Dietary restrictions: They make orders fresh so this is easy to accommodateParking: East parking access.Kid-friendliness: They are kiddo friendly and have high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility“
“[Update Jan 2024]Food has been a little up and down, lately. On a recent order, the fried green tomatoes were good, the fish platter ok, but the open faced roast beef (a special) was way oversalted. It seemed to be the gravy, which should be simple enough to check as it's made. You're mileage may vary. The quality of their standards doesn't seem to fluctuate. Just an FYI.Still generally good. The menu hasn't changed since I can recall, but everyone enjoys it. Decent pub food and I always enjoy their wedge salad. Simple, but tasty.“
“Extensive bourbon and whiskey lists, delicious cocktails, and tasty food makes this place a must visit. Recommend trying the bread sticks, meatballs, bourbon glazed salmon, and any of the burgers. The only regret was not trying their pizza!Parking: Large parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Ramp access available“
“I am extremely upset I haven't been here before. This place is amazing! They have some great dishes but even the simple things like biscuits and gravy are done at a high level. Their waffles will knock your socks. We went in at 1015 on the weekend and it was a very calm vibe.“
“One of our regular spots in Lexington! Pizzas are great stone-fired right in front of you, topping selection is great, and they do it right for dine-in or takeout. Salads and cheese bread are delish! Outdoor area next door is lovely in the summer as well.“
“Passing through to head home to Michigan, and checked this cool diner out! Food was amazing, portion was huge, the service is friendly! The owner thanked us for coming in, which you don't see that often! Environment was great, everyone was enjoying themselves! Cute“
“Very friendly very nice atmosphere the KJ is very super nice she's always friendly and very helpful and picking selecting songs I really like it here a lotParking: There are lots of parking spots in the plaza and there are about eight parking spots up front“
“The food is fantastic. We tried the chicken wings and soft pretzels to start and both were delicious. I am super picky about my pretzels and these really were spot on. Just a slight crunch with a soft, chewy inside! All of our burgers were very good sized, perfectly cooked, and incredibly juicy. ?To top things off, our server was friendly and made sure our experience was great.“
“What an awesome find! We decided to stop at Liam's upon arriving into LEX, based on Google reviews. We were not disappointed!! If you're looking for tablecloths and full service restaurant, Liam's is not for you. Our food was served on "real" tableware, however! If you're looking for great, authentic food and friendly/helpful staff, you're at the right place!!! It's inside a convenience store where you can purchase a drink if you choose and bring it over. Would definitely stop again when in the area!!“
“Vegetarian options: Not singled out really..If you are diabetic you will have to pick and choose wisely..many restaurants do not cater the the diabetic community.Overall, it’s a very nice place to eat has a small hometown atmosphere, and the people are friendly!“
“I had the egg and pancake with one meat breakfast plate and also got an extra side of chunk hash browns which were delicious. Bacon and eggs done exactly as I ordered. The two pancakes were light and fluffy, good flavor, perfectly cooked. Very good service. From time of order to food on the table was timely. Nice home decor, plenty of seating, plenty of parking. Two people with similar orders under $23. A fo back to place.“
“This is amazing! Lexington residents are so fortunate! If you are a vegetarian, so many wonderful options. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The delicious sweet and savory combination s is the pimento cheese fritters. A wonderful beat and brussel sprout salad and then the gnocchi - just these wonderful pillows of deliciousness. Great staff too. Such a great place. When Im back in town, staying next door again.“
“This is the best Waffle House in the country. This is just my opinion, but after going to at least 50 different Waffle House locations over the years, the food at this one hits differently. I'm not sure what they do differently here, but the waffle is always fluffier than other locations. As the case at most Waffle House's, the staff is kind. There's an older gentleman who greets everyone as they walk indoors & helps them to their table. If there's a wait, he will take their names down, wipe their table, & sit them once it's ready for customers. The food always comes out hot & tasting fresh. I cannot say this about other locations. Every time I come back to Lexington, I always make a stop at this Waffle House before I leave town because it's a positive & filling experience every time. Shout out to this location!Parking: This Waffle House has its own parking lot. However, this location stays busy & you may have to wait for parking since it can only handle so many vehicles.“
“We stopped in here on New Year's Eve afternoon for a couple of drinks before heading to our hotel for the evening. Jack and Donna were both amazingly nice folks. They made us feel very comfortable and we enjoyed our conversation with them. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.“
“Amazing place, our waitress (I believe her name was Daeju) was incredibly attentive, fast, polite, and very friendly. Always there when we needed her, refilling drinks before we even asked, got our orders done perfectly, just absolutely pleasant and very aware of customer needs. Quite possibly one of the best waitresses I've ever had anywhere. Me and my friend had a lovely time and she made us feel very welcome.“
“This place was very popular and I couldn't see why. The food and service were very good. The portions were more than enough had to take stuff home.I only have one negative. I did love the option of getting a text message when a seat was available. It gave me the opportunity to sit in the car while waiting due to back issues. But when they called us in, we had to wait another fifteen minutes standing, and that was difficult on my back.“
“I found Babes BBQ recently by doing a google search for restaurants in Georgetown! Someone asked me have I ate at a restaurant but she couldn’t remember what it was called so I started naming places and unfortunately it wasn’t Babes but I am glad I stumbled upon your restaurant! The Awesome atmosphere of family style seating or small tables. Service is stellar from ordering your food at the counter to it being ready for you in a timely manner and brought to your table. The staff walked around checking on everyone multiple times and asked if everything was good and if you needed anything. This was an amazing dine in experience and we will be returning in the future!“
“1st time at Castle Farm. Celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. Maddy was fantastic. She walked us through the menu and gave us her personal recommendations. The Beef short ribs were so tender and the Wagyu melted in your mouth. She was right the bread was like dessert. We will 100% be back.“
“Such a great place to have lunch! We had pulled pork, baked beans and slaw. Highly recommend the sides which are better than you make at home! The slaw was straight up magical! The beans were thick and rich and so savory! The pork was just delicious! Tender and perfectly seasoned with a great bark! This is just good bar b q done right!“
“First time visiting and the service was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and helping with our order. The food was excellent. The place was crowded but the wait time for food was minimal. Parking was easy and I look forward to returning.“
“Star saved the day . This manager with her wonderful cheery attitude was welcoming and helpful ! She showed me a new product --chicken bites , and served me a very good meal of chicken and the beans that I like. Her personality and helpfulness make a big difference.“
“The service here is generally good, this last time our waiter was in an extreme rush during our whole meal. He never introduced himself, he never asked if we needed anything. He did keep an eye on our drinks and kept up with them for the most part.“
“I wasn’t impressed with my meat lovers pizza, it was just okay. The garlic cheese sticks were so good though!!! I will get the cheese sticks and steak grinder next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Seemed like a small, family owned restaurant. Good music & vibes.Parking: Weird parking lot set up but it is located near other stores/shops. Just a slight walk.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level facility and would be wheelchair accessible.“
“Valentine's dinner with my wife. She had the tuscan chicken with gnocchi, which she said was delicious. I had the diver scallops on a bed of polenta, which was also great. Perfectly cooked. However, there were 2 scallops. 2??? Oh well. Also had chocolate coverered strawberries for dessert.“
“Amazing amount of beer selections. Hate all the beer joints doing too many IPAs. We had a burger and the Philly. The burger was fantastic and the Philly was ah. We tried the house cups and the onion rings. Both were good. Service was fantastic and the place deserved more traffic than they had. This place needs more people trying to enjoy a great beer with a good food option.“
“What a pleasant surprise! When I was advised that the Wilshire Restaurant would be hosting our community Christmas Party, I began checking reviews. The results weren't all that great, but I figured what the heck, it's one meal, one night, and at-least the comradery would be good. Oh my, was I ever wrong!! The meal was FABULOUS! The food delicious, rivaled only by quick and courteous service. What a wonderful gathering! I happily applaud those responsible for selecting the Wilshire Restaurant. Though not a trained connoisseur, I know good food and service when received. Yes, I highly recommend the Wilshire Restaurant in Georgetown, Kentucky! The only negative I encountered, in an otherwise perfect gathering, was a serious lack of appropriate Handicap Parking. Hats off and great job to the the Wilshire Restaurant!“
“We’ve found our new favorite steakhouse! First off, the complimentary bread with butter was very tasty. The appetizer was their Parmesan spinach cheese dip. Best appetizer I’ve ever had anywhere. I decided to try the porterhouse steak, adding Parmesan topping with mushrooms. Tastiest steak I’ve ever had! Medium rare of course. Added the lobster tail, and let me tell you, that lobster tail was wayyyy better than Red Lobster! Steakhouse Mac n cheese was VERY good. Their Crispy Brussels sprouts made me like Brussels sprouts for the first time EVER! Wife had Parmesan crusted chicken, which she loved! Great Caesar salad and baked potato. Now for our incredibly AWESOME Server, Meganne! Longhorn was slammed and very busy. Yet she was on top of it!! No sooner would I finish my coke, and she’d have another one ready. She was absolutely a pleasure to talk to, answer our questions about the menu. My wife and I absolutely LOVE her! This was our first time trying Longhorn Steakhouse, but it sure as Hell won’t be our last. Every time we go, we’ll ask for MEGANNE!!OUTSTANDING FOOD. OUTSTANDING SERVICE.LONG LIVE MEGANNE & LONGHORN STEAHOUSE!!!“
“Their grilled fish options are great! I like the lemon pepper salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. The quality is comparable to some dine in restaurants I've been to and the price is significantly cheaper. They've definitely upped their game.“
“Celebrated my birthday at Holly Hill. Staff was so kind and attentive. Had a beautiful 3 course meal with wine pairing. Then we decided to add the cheese plate. The local cheeses- especially Kenny’s were amazing. The sunchoke bisque with carrot top pesto was SO good! Pacing of service was great too. Such a warm, inviting little retreat!“
