“We can’t say enough about this little gem. From the excellent customer service to the delicious food, our experience was beyond exceptional. There is a sense of community the minute you step in, and we love that. When you see the family working together as a team, it speaks volumes and is quite honestly why I will rank this as one of my absolute favorite restaurants to eat at. Get there earlier rather than later if you want to take advantage of their special of the day. And don’t forget to thank a farmer while you’re there!”

“The best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had!!! Had to buy the rest to bring home!!! Thank you so much for making my vacation….. yes after about 6 days on the road I finally found a bbq shop (non commercial) so I had to stop and you definitely did not disappoint, from the brisket sandwiches and the pulled chicken everything was 5 ⭐️. I hope we get a chance to come back soon. If not I’m driving down 7 hrs to get more goodies.”

“My mom and I went there for our first time today. she got the banana split and I got the chamoy pickle kit. The banana split was huge! Definitely worth the money. He loaded it. The pickle kit was amazing. Just the right amount of flavoring, and it came with everything. It was delicious. The customer service was wonderful. He helped us choose what he thought we would like by asking us what flavors we were looking for. It's a cute set up. Very laid back and relaxing. We will definitely be a returning customer.”

“This was our fifth time eating at a Cattleman's restaurant, and it is always good. The reason I only gave this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars was because of the bad potato salad on the salad bar. It is usually really good but this time something was ruined.

The rest of the experience was great we had a friendly waitress who did a great job! The rest of the food was perfect! My fiance had a steak, medium rare cooked to perfection, and a baked potato with the salad bar.
While I ordered the bbq chicken breast with rice and the salad bar.
My son also had a steak but with fries and no salad bar. The rolls were awesome, and the mozzarella cheese bites were amazing!
We all had enough to eat and brought the leftovers home.

“I found this gem of a coffee shop in downtown Shelbyville a block away from an Airb&b we stayed at. 1. Great tasting espresso 2. Friendly staff 3. Cool vibe and plenty of space to hang out and 4. I loved their mission partnering with a local non-profit called Wake Ministries. If I’m ever back in Shelbyville I defiantly will stop in again.”

“It's a good solid place for real Mexican tacos and burritos. The al pastor has actual chunks of pineapple in it. The asada is flavored correctly. There is a variety of salsas. My favorites are the fire and the mango habanero. Good solid authentic food.”

“Went there to attend a wedding . very large room for Wedding and Reception. They have a full bar and 2 big screen TVs with 2 different ballgames going. They had a playroom for kids!! It was a rainy day so wasnt outside much but Guist Creek runs along side the building. Great photo opportunities there was just too ill to take any today. Next time!”

The individual pizzas are perfectly portioned, but those with a larger appetite may prefer a medium-sized pizza. “I drove the 30 miles from Frankfort to Shelbyville to pick up some sandwiches and pizza....I forgot my wallet on the counter an employee message me and told me I had left it with Ed Lowe the owner...I know Ed from high school ( Fairview High School)...when I went in to get it he told me if I hadn't called them and came back he was gonna bring it to me....that was awesome that he would do that I know him well enough that he still would have done that for a perfect stranger....that tells all of us there is still wonderful people still out there...Ed and his family owned Giovannis Pizza is the best”

“The staff here is very friendly and personable making for a very pleasant visit. The food was prepared quickly and was hot upon delivery. There are few Long John Silvers near me so it's nice to have such a clean and welcoming restaurant to visit.”

“Eat here all the time, some of the micro aggressions in these reviews is really sad, especially in this county. So no wonder the service isn’t really that pleasant if they still have to face racism. Food tho, is honestly one of the best places to eat at, order over the phone and then drive to pick it up. IT IS ALWAYS CHICKEN/ PORK/ BEEF. No other source of meat is used, even if it was, pretty sure thats the wrong culture anyway. Sorry about that just really, really hate bigotry.
