“We were visiting Taylorsville for a week and found this gem. We love visiting local pubs/taverns wherever we go, because they are where you meet the townsfolk and get a glimpse of the local community. Nich and Danielle were wonderful hosts and welcomed us from day one. We never felt like outsiders. They took great care of us! We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to KY!”

“We ordered carry out from here while staying in the area. We got the birria plate which came with corn tortillas, rice, beans, and a side of cilantro and diced onions as well as the kids burrito with rice and beans. Both were absolutely delicious. First, the food came out quickly and the staff were very kind and helpful. Also, the food was hot even once we got home and even came with chips and salsa free of charge. The corn tortillas tasted like they were homemade and the flavor of everything we had was exceptional. I am celiac and eat gluten free so I was a bit worried about the food being safe but I’ve eaten Mexican plenty before and made sure to choose options that would be the safest. Everything ended up being safe for me and I had no issues. Would definitely eat here again!”

“Champs chicken located inside of the country mart in Taylorsville, KY has good chicken. Their tenders are good, and their mac & cheese is also very good. The price is reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area to check it out .”

“The food here is fantastic. Their sweet and sour chicken just has that little something that’s better than most other little Chinese restaurants. FOR ALL THE DINGBATS complaining about their orders taking too long, or the kids working the register. That’s exactly how a take out Chinese place is supposed to be. The food taste better because it’s being cooked by a couple Chinese people in a in a steamy/grimy looking kitchen. When you start morphing into an Karen and they give you a bad attitude and basically tell you to suck a lemon and buzz off, that’s how you know you have the right people cooking the food. You’re seriously put out that a kid is taking the order? Something got messed up cause a 9 year old didn’t put in your pu pu platter correctly? Get out of here. There are a thousand KFCs with freckle faced white kid working the register. Go there. Everything about China One in Taylorsville is perfect. They don’t need to fix a single thing.”

“Stopped here for a quick lunch and honestly had a pretty good experience overall. The sandwich was fresh, vegetables looked crisp, and everything was made exactly how I ordered it 🥪🔥. Staff moved the line quickly and stayed friendly even during the busy lunch rush. The dining area looked clean and there was plenty of seating available which made it easy to relax for a bit before heading back out. Definitely one of the cleaner and better Subway locations I’ve been to lately.”

“Okay, so I have to say it’s not always amazing service and food, but also…. When they’re on point they’re on. I’ve had some of the best food ever from here and this location is one of the only reasons I continue to give Taco Bell a chance. Had the cantina Mexican pizza which is my new favorite and if they make it right…. They make it perfect :) problem is whether they make it right or not. Tonight was PERFECT!!!”

“The Double Dip Soda Fountain seems like a fictional place. When you step inside, it’s like you’ve entered a movie set. However, The Double Dip is very real. So much fun to be had as you can rent a bowling lane and compete against your friends and family. Plus, the ice cream is wildly delicious! I wish I could give this an even higher score! Recommend, recommend, recommend! ‘Cuz this is livin’!”

“Great find on the back roads of Nelson Co KY. Bloomfield is a beautiful little community with this gem in the center. Great, well kept atmosphere and kind fast service with great pizza! Loved it.”
