“We went with family that included ages 6 to 80. Everyone had a nice time and found something they could enjoy to eat on the menu! We didn't get any pictures but everything came out as expected and there were no issues even with our larger group. We didn't have to wait a long time for our food to come out either. I'm sure we'll be back at some point.”
“We have a tradition every summer of swinging through the drive thru at this Dairy Queen for Blizzards after a long day at the Kentucky Renaissance Faire. Makes for a good treat. Honestly better than the Dairy Queens closer to home. Service is always friendly and the Blizzards are better made.”
“I was skeptical with no one in the parking lot but with them supporting a school event in the past I wanted to give it a chance. Great service and food was great. And no wait! Win win”
“We ordered on line wait was acceptable. Our dinner was beyond good. Made to perfection and hot wen we had it delivered. Nice driver and very polite person taking phone order,,,!”
“Lilly was my server and she was so helpful! I will always ask for her when dining in at this hometown. She was super quick and polite. My drink was never empty because she would always fill it up before I noticed it getting to that point. She was happy to get anything we needed. 10/10 experience. If you dine in you definitely want Lilly to be your server. She has a wonderful sense of humor as well and cracked a couple jokes that brightened my day! Hometown was smart to hire this chick.”
“Perfect service. Perfect food. Never had a better filet-I-fish. Perfect bun, filet, tartar and cheese! It was busy but service was prompt. Young man in back drive thru was superb! Thank you!”
“It was a cute shop, and the inside had a cozy atmosphere. The ice cream was not too sweet and was very delicious. I would like to try other flavors as well. I ordered a mint chip milkshake. Recommended!”
“My porkchops were perfectly fried, had terrific greens and a huge baked potato. The chocolate pie was perfect. Great iced tea!! If you order anything and aren't pleased, they will make it right! My go-to, homecooked meal. Never disappointed. Always worth the drive to the country!!!!”
“First time here, omg what a fabulous place and what great staff Carrie and Dawn were so nice and friendly and David cooked the BEST chicken club and onion rings It may be out of the way for some but if your looking for good old fashioned service, quality and small town flare this is the place It’s a home town”
“went here for a friends 22nd birthday party . there was barley and people there . beautiful location, wine was very failry priced and honestly less expensive than a normal dinner at the local diner nowadays ! lots of cute animals on the property as well . did a round of the wine tasting and bought a bottle and some beer cheese . all of it was delicious ! would highly reccomend”
“Truly a farm to table place to shop. Family owned and operated on the family homestead. They support other farmers in the area by marketing their products. Their ice cream is made on site and they have an Ice Cream Truck that can support local events.Close to I 71 exit 28.”
“Very basic restaurant with a smaller menu and rotating special. Tried the Godbey burger and it was cooked well and topped as advertised. Fries were a bit soggy like the oil was to cold but otherwise our meal was fine. Very small restaurant.”
“I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area who's looking for amazing scoops of ice cream. Family friendly. And the owners are right there working side by side the employees. I highly respect that, and it shows how committed they are to not only their customers but also to there team. The fun color choice and eye for details on this old build is what drew us in.A+ across the board.Parking: Parking in front of building and free parking right across the street!! Can't beat thatKid-friendliness: Owners respected the kids and wanted to serve them and my wife and I to the best of their ability. High chairs and seating for the whole family.”
“We were on a 12 hour trip from Arkansas to Ohio and stopped to stretch and refuel ourselves and the car. We were pleasantly surprised to find in side dinning was available. My wife had their chicken sandwich meal with French fries and a diet Pepsi I had their Quarter pounder, fries and a diet. Both meals tasted good and since these were fast foods we did not lose much time in our travels. The restaurant is in a truck stop. It is very clean, as was the restrooms. Staff was great and friendly.”
“Food is always the hottest and freshest I've ever received at McDonald's. But never a great time with their drive-through. Staff always seems upset, and the atmosphere is gross, seeing that it's right next to a sewage line.”
“They stated that they had just been extremely busy. Consequently, they didn't have the type of bread I wanted. Also, they were down to just one of the cookies I wanted. I had to go with another bread and choose another type of cookie for my second one in the combo meal.”
“This little spot is a treasure, it needs to be a regular stop on your way through Eminence. Worth going out of your way to visit as well. The apple fritters and long johns are particularly delightful. These folks have donuts figured out.”
