Find true hospitality & kindness at Melissa's diner! It's a local staple plus very welcoming to travelers! The food is excellent - I had the Biscuits & gravy. Biscuits were so light and fluffy! Local recommendation is to add a 'mater and it elevated the dish even better!
Had breakfast. Husband had the biscuits and gravy, I had the small stack pancakes with bacon. Food was great. Service was great as well. Melissa was very welcoming. Would recommend to friends visiting the area.

Great local spot! Not many of these places left. Melisa served us and she was personable and attentive. Definitely recommend the burgers and fries. Fresh never frozen meat with great flavor. Fries were hot and delicious. Go here after your visit to Buffalo Trace, Castle and Key or Glenn's Creek Distilleries.
