Cute little ice cream shop. Good ice cream. Very reasonable prices. Love local. WARNING: Watch out for the staircase in the middle of the room. Very dangerous. My son hit his head very hard and cried all through his ice cream. Were not for the staircase, I would give 5 stars.
I typically do not write reviews but I have made an exception for Hoggy’s. I love their ice cream and do not understand how anyone could ever compare it to store-bought brands. The staff is exceptional and the location is perfect. Every time I walk or drive by there seems to be a nice crowd and that is great news for downtown Frankfort.And remember Frankfort friends, please support the locally-owned businesses we have here. We stopped at Hoggy’s on our way through Frankfort and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, there was a great variety of hand dipped ice cream flavors, and the shop itself had plenty of seating in their fun loft area. I tried Coffee, Salted Carmel, and Cherry Cordial and they were all delicious! I would especially recommend the Cherry Cordial as it was exceptionally well executed.
