The tour of this distillery should be on your bucket list. The rustic buildings are amazing and watching the process of making fine bourbon and whiskey was a real treat. We heard about Buffalo while touring a Kentucky horse farm and we were told it was something we should not miss. Our tour guide was right. Awesome store with great prices and the tasting was the icing on the cake. Love the bourbon chocolates.

Buffalo Trace was just as amazing as I had heard! We had the opportunity to sign up for the Discover the Trace event that included an old fashioned making class, a tour, and a blind tasting. Josh was an amazing host and Ashley gave us a great tour! Was great getting to see another side of Buffalo Trace through this event. Highly recommend checking out Buffalo Trace anytime you can.

This place is huge—definitely felt like the biggest campus of any distillery we visited. They had a much more elaborate entry process than any other place.

We did the "Old Taylor" tour and had a good time. Our guide, J.D., was awesome—super knowledgeable, engaging, and answered any questions we had. He had tons of great stories and made sure we got the most out of our visit. There’s so much to see, and we’d love to come back and try one of the other tours next time. There was buildings you weren't allowed to go into unless you had a reservation for that specific tour (which we found out the hard way).

Did the Trace Tour this time. Next time we hope to get into the Hard Hat Tour!

Incredible experience! The Wood Shop is an especially cool stop.

We arrived just in time to join a tour led by Jeremy, on a day that happened to be his birthday. If you have a chance to come here, try as hard as you can to reserve a tour led by Jeremy, as he is truly the best. A secretly natural stand-up comedian, Jeremy kept the tour in rapt attention as he perfectly blended historical facts and good humor. Easily a highlight of our trip to Kentucky, I can't recommend this experience highly enough.

Very friendly staff from start to finish. We were only able to do the Trace Tour, but enjoyed the experience. Definitely makes me want to come back for one of the other more in depth tours.

Great distillery tour. If you can swing it, take the tour with Mary-Jo!

Driving a long distance, and then you can’t buy the bourbon you wanted to buy because of a silly rotation system that is not posted and random does not make sense. Sell all the bourbon that you produce and bring to market!

So much to do here! Bring your walking shoes and your whole family! One of the only distilleries the kids can attend but for that reason it’s much busier than the others we visited. The gardens were very pretty and the gift shop is HUGE! David (our taster) was the best! So friendly and fun.
