Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We stopped by after church with another couple. Our waitress came by pretty quickly and took and filled our drink order. She even came by and took our food order. After that it was pretty much down hill. We did not see her again for quite a while. My tea glass was empty for at least 10 minutes. I finally had another waitress get me some tea. Food arrived. The cat fish was a little overcooked. My shrimp and hush puppies were pretty much dark brown and overcooked. Much of our side dishes were missing. We had to wait for them to arrive later
Cracker Barrel used to be really good. The decor, food, and service was always great.
Doesn't seem so anymore.
Maybe it's a lack of good help.its difficult to find good help.
Keep the decor but work on good food and service. I travel a lot and eat put a lot.
Our experience Sunday was at best a 2.5 put of 5.
Keep trying to improve, ok?

Overall a horrible experience. Service was poor at best. Food was good but were out of lots of items. Never got refills on our drinks. Had to ask for utensils (others around us had the same issue) just to be able to eat. Cashier was great but most of the other staff we came in contact with didn’t seem to care if they helped you or not. Some of the menu changes to me doesn’t make sense. I have heard overall they are losing market share as a whole. I would suggest them to visit one of their restaurants it would not take long to figure out why.

The food was good except green beans were not cooked well. Waitress was over worked. The store smelled like the restrooms had not been cleaned in a while, the oder smelled like a porta potty!

My wife and I had to wait a 11/2 to get our food. When it came to our table we couldn't eat it it was horrible. Southern chicken had been put in the Grease twice,BBQ beans looked and tasted old. THIS IS THE THIRD Time This HAPPEN TO US. WE WONT GO BACK!!!! FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!

Food was good, people nice but take out order took incredibly long

Visiting the area stopped in for lunch. I always look forward to the grilled chicken tenders and the turnip greens. Salad was very fresh and the fried chicken and French toast hit the spot. Would like to thank Eryn for the great service.

Food was decent service sucked took 30 minutes to ge the food with no biscuits for 2 year olds wile waiting when asking the waitress a question she smarts off at my wife and everyone was cramped on one side of the room with no one on the other side and the manager was interviewing some one with gang tattoos 🤔 I don't think I'll be taking my family back

Always a fav for home cookin

Several items left out of carry out order. No bacon on bacon cheeseburgers, no hashbrown casserole, no carrots, 1 order of corn bread muffins (3 complete meals ordered), very few fries with the (no)bacon cheeseburger meal. Very disappointed in quality.

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at while traveling across the country. The food is always hot and a great value. I love the delicious chicken diners with flavorful sides. The staff is always friendly and in my opinion does an excellent job.
