We've been twice and we won't return. The food is good but the service is terrible. It takes forever to get waited on, you can't even get a glass of water and forget refills. Once your food finally arrives, you'll never see them again. The food is expensive, you'd think they could afford more help. The final straw was this past weekend where we waited at the table for 15 minutes. We were the only patrons in the place and couldn't get anyone to take out order. We left

Let me start by saying this is my favorite seafood restaurant. So why the 1-star rating? Several times each year my wife and I drive an hour each way to eat there. On June 25 we drove in a torrential rain storm to celebrate our 47th anniversary there. We arrived at 6:50 pm and the hostess refused to seat us, saying "we close at 7" and "we just got a large group in". When we explained we had driven over an hour in the storm to get there and it wasn't yet closing time, she just said "Sorry". This was no way to treat a loyal customer. I hope that management sees this review and trains their staff to take better care of their customers.
Time to shut it down, worst meal in town! Got the salmon on Mother's day, they said they had some bourbon glaze I said I would like it on the side. It was maple syrup LOL place is an absolute joke. The owner responded to this implying that their food was just exceptional! The salmon was dry, clearly came right from Kroger it was terrible! The maple syrup glaze was an insult to anyone who's truly had bourbon glaze. They're supposed bourbon glaze has bourbon dumped in maple syrup, to cover up the lack of seasoning on the salmon. As far as the view goes of the Kentucky River LOL are you kidding me! What of you congratulations on your fantastic spot hahaha. The owner doesn't recall there being an issue on that day, everyone had an issue on that day no one wanted to be there. Our party talked to another party in the parking lot, your policy was not to set anyone at a table until the full party was there. What is this 1950? Your menu implies it. The place wasn't even full you may have worked doubles because no one wants to work for you, place is disgusting! And way overpriced. No one in the entire party brought this up to the waitress or to the cashier. We paid our bill left a nice tip and just accepted the fact that the staff believes they have something special, if you can't convince your customers of that they won't be back! And none of us will be back! Good luck with your view of the sludge filled foamy Kentucky River that stinks! Congrats

I ordered the fried shrimp dinner. It was fantastic! The shrimp were huge and covered with a very light coat of batter.
Wheelchair accessibility: A good wide ramp to assist those in wheelchairs.

I ordered a piece of Alaskin cod to add with my oyster dinner and instead of a whole piece they bought me out three cut pieces like you would get on your 3 or 4 way meal, which is only a half piece. I received two tail pieces which were thin and dry and one small middle piece. I paid 16.99 just for that one piece of fish!!! Unbelievable. The poor waitress was trying to wait on the entire restaurant and was doing her best?. Wonder where the manager was during this whole time? We had to wait patiently for a Togo box. During that time we counted 11 people waiting to be seated and even heard two groups ask how many waitress did they have working today? Apparently they were regulars here.
