I have lived in Frankfort my whole life and have never been inside ( as I do not eat seafood). However I took a lady there to pick up food, that we ordered on our way there. While there I picked up a lady who dined in ( I drive a taxi). The staff that day were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was hot and fresh. The lady I picked up was thoroughly satisfied with her meal. Also I did not expect it to look like it did on the inside. So kudos to Jim's Seafood staff.

I was so looking forward to this meal. I'd heard wonderful things about this restaurant. My server Shanta was EXCELLENT. I got my order to go. Spent approximately $50 for the sampler and tip. The vegetables were good. The catfish fillet was good. The delved crab had no taste at all. No seasoning at all. The crab cakes however were very salty. It was a big disappointment to me because I have friends coming from out of town and I promised to treat them to dinner here. I'm not sure if the regular chef does not work on Wednesday evenings or what is going on however I definitely did not get the quality that I expected for the price I paid.

In their defense it was getting close to closing time when we got there. New waitress, she did good but when the sandwiches came out, the boys said they were missing their fries. She said it doesn’t come with them. But on the way out i checked the menu and it did come with. ? The gumbo was pretty much all broth, tasty but nothing to it… bottom of the pot? ??♀️ Frog legs were juicy but the breading doesn’t stay on, might as well not even put it on.

Discovered this place last weekend and everything was delicious, it is right by the river so there is a good view, the service was great the food was delicious we will definitely be going back. We ordered calamari, shrimp and the white fish and for dessert the blackberry cobbler.

BOYCOTT!!!!! This place seriously needs to be better educated on the ADA law! As a former SD handler this is infuriating! Harassing a service dog handler is completely unacceptable! There is NO paperwork for legit service dogs and asking for it is ILLEGAL! Asking her to move tables because of the dog is again ILLEGAL! I hope that she wins her lawsuit and that this horrible place gets shut down. Disgusting behavior by the servers and the owner.

Only two couples in the whole place and it took 45 minutes to get out food. We both got the bourbon glazed salmon and the portion was pitiful. The seafood gumbo was unlike any I've tasted, didn't recognize and saw absolutely NO seafood in it. Found one tiny piece of sausage in the whole bowl. Food took a long time, then was not very hot. Had to wait on fries to come out, after I was just about ready for a box. The server never took our dirty dishes. There was a total of 4 tables in the place including us. Disappointed in $30 meals. Guess that's why I haven't been there in ages. I know y'all could do better.
