Your quintessential hole-in-the-wall gem. I had the catfish with collard greens and Mac n cheese and I will be back to get it again. Everything was well-seasoned -not too much, and not too little - collard greens were tender and not bitter at all and the Mac n cheese was delicious without being loaded down with cheese. And everything is fried fresh. Lady running the place was awesome and helpful. This place isn't putting on airs - the focus is good quality food. I'd have taken a photo but I ate it too quickly.

Best Catfish I've had in awhile. We ordered the catfish with collard greens and Mac n cheese. I asked for the tar tar sauce. Seems like she makes her own? Didn't even need the sauce the catfish shines on its own. Made fresh to order. I'm not a fan of collard greens but these were good. We also ordered the curry chicken. It was on point! Rice is well seasoned and the curry has a nice spice to it. It's a take out only place. Probably would call ahead next time. Their hours are until 11pm but sounds like they take last orders at 10:40pm. They opened up around July 18th. I wish them the best. I would definitely go back.

3 out of the 4 chicken tenders I got were dry but the one that happen to be juicy which was so delicious! Wish all of them were like that one. But the sides were amazing, I got the fries, mac n cheese, and green beans! Overall it was good! I’ll definitely want to explore the menu so I’ll be back.
