This was such a great spot! Megan is an excellent bartender and gave great recommendations. She was very accommodating and so kind! My family was only here for one night and I would highly recommend stopping at Sig Luscher Brewery while in Frankfort!

Sig Luscher has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Frankfort. Thursday karaoke nights are always a blast, and the bartenders never fail to be exceptional. I also love joining the Tuesday run club—it’s such a fun way to connect with the community.

This place is more than just a bar—it’s truly a gathering hub. The pilsner is crisp, refreshing, and easy to drink, and they also host creative cocktail nights. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciate the vegan chili—it’s always delicious.

Whether you’re just passing through or a local looking for a great spot, be sure to stop by the oldest brewery in Kentucky (and the eighth oldest in the U.S.!). Even better, the founder, Sig Luscher, is buried right here in Frankfort Cemetery—so when you visit, you’re not just enjoying a brew, you’re sipping on a piece of history.

Small brewery but everything good 👍

Very friendly bartender, easy to talk to. Lots of locals and good beer on tap. If you need a quick snack they have hot dogs and brats with all the fixings.

The beer is great. They no longer have the Vegan Brats so I'll probably not be going back for food. That was my go to place after mountain biking at CVP. I understand the Vegan option isn't popular.

Beer is really solid. Good brewery - came back twice .

I can really only give it one star. When I walked in on Saturday August 23rd to see a band play, I stood at the bar waiting to be served while the bartender was regaling a customer with a story. She saw me but never acknowledged me. I waited and waited patiently. And waited some more. Then a large woman cut in front of me and I wasn't about to say anything to her so I figured she'd order then I would. But the bartender never acknowledged her either! I waited around a while longer while she told her story, and it just never ended. So I left. Didn't get to see the band, didn't get a drink. Won't be back.

Exactly what you want from a small brewery. Great beer (had a few generous samples) and some really cool locals to steer you in the right direction. My wife and I had a pint then took a six pack to go along with a DORA beer for a walk around town. Meg is awesome! Will make this a regular stop on our 'every so often' visits to Buffalo Trace

Great fun! Beware the risqué performance of the slushie machine! 🤣😏
