I had Staxx BBQ cater a Christmas dinner for about 25 members of the Disabled American Veterans. As their commander I held it at my house. Dan Liebman and the Staxx staff went above and beyond to make absolutely delicious food. My crew and I loved it. I highly recommend Staxx for catering or just stopping in for delicious BBQ and more . Thanks so much! Brooke W Christopher DAV commander.

Ive tried for years but this food is just so bland and it’s getting worse. The macaroni is borderline inedible, my child refuses, and the pork never tastes smoked or even seasoned. The bbq sauce should enhance the flavor not be the only source. Staxx is a smack in the face to an entire sub culture of pitmasters and outside of this town I think it would fail miserably. Service is good, the family is nice, but their food is bland. Their attempt at a steakhouse had similar issues, bland.

I give this place no stars!!! Only reason I gave it a star is because it doesn’t let you post without any. The food is horrible, I wouldn’t eat this food if they served it in jail!!

Excellent brisket sandwich. Sometimes has only 1/2 as much meat (or sometimes has 2x as much if you want to look at it that way....)
Tried talking to manager, no help - says order it with brisket & bun separate???
I'd buy two every day I drive by (one for next day) if I knew what days are half meat brisket days.
Owner must have all the customers they need with that attitude~
A real shame, it's excellent brisket consistently and the spicy sauce, yuuuuum. Managment's concern over portion control? Non-existent (consistently).

Best BBQ in Frankfurt, owner is very kind and spends time with his customers. Would highly recommend the sausage. This restaurant has a takeout counter with sit down tables as well as a drive through

Awesome place, best bbq I've had in a while. Had to go 2 days straight and get the brisket dinner plate. Meat was so good. Highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is family friendly.

Pulled pork was decent, but the brisket was bland. Wouldn't recommend the brisket. The Mac n cheese and onion rings were ok. Most likely wouldn't stop again.

Mac and cheese was flavorless and the cornbread was hard and boring. First time I’ve ever not eaten more than a bite of either. The pulled pork was greasy. Beans needed flavor. The brisket was tender and cooked great but missing flavor.

So we were just passing through Frankfurt and thought we would eat somewhere local, this was the first thing we saw that wasn’t a chain,so barbecue always sounds good. I’m from Texas so I have a pretty good standard about barbecue, this is a no-frills place kind of felt like you were going back in time to somewhere that would’ve been built in the 80s and really hasn’t updated it since then… And actually that’s what I like about it, they put their money into their food instead of it to some sort of modern decor, I got the ribs and chicken wings, they were both smoked old-school style… Tasted fantastic and the sweet potato fries were top-notch, hot and crsip to perfection, the ribs meat literally fell off the bone. The prices were also like kind of back in time. They haven’t nearly the prices of BbQ TN Restaurant especially barbecue which has really gone through the roof… Whereas for the sandwich meals it was pretty much the same price as you’re gonna pay for a combo at McDonald’s… this is the kind of place that if I were local, I would eat there all the time. Friendly staff, just good folk.
