Didn’t even get to try anything because the bartender Megan insulted my husband while talking to another customer. We questioned her if it was normal for her to bad mouth patrons at her establishment. Her response was that talking about politics was not want there even though she wasn’t part of the conversation my husband was having. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome so we left.

Seven of us stopped in The Patio Pub on a Monday night and were greeted by Megan. She got us set up at two tables and was very engaging and lovely. She checked on us frequently, promptly filled drink orders and chatted with us awhile. We even got to meet a special patron: a French bulldog puppy with (sadly) a broken leg. Sooo adorable! Megan was fantastic!! Excellent service!!!

The Patio Pub has the best Chicken Wings in town! I love them with the Bourbon Glaze sauce. There's a nice selection of tap & bottled/canned beer too. The bar opens at 2pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday- as well as noon on Saturday, so there's plenty of time to get a late lunch or watch the football & basketball games. The bartenders will change the games for you and sometimes take music requests as well. And The Patio has the cleanest bathrooms in downtown Frankfort. There's a mix of locals as well as fellow Buffalo Trace bourbon trial tourists coming through so it's always a good time and you meet people from all over the world. When it's nice outside I like sitting on the patio. The Patio side and The Brick Alley side are connected and are the latest bars open downtown so it's a fun spot for pool, live music, even keno.

Stopped in after a tour at Buffalo Trace just as they opened. The bar was big and spacious and attached was another room with an additional bar. It appeared the only employee was the bartender who doubled as a cook. Great beer and bourbon selection (pappy, weller, etc). We can to eat so didn't partake in any pours. We ordered 4 apps to share. The beer cheese and pretzels and SW egg rolls were great. The beer cheese wasn't overpowering on beer flavor and was served piping hot. We look forward to our next visit to catch a game on one of the many big screens!!

Only our first time, but based on today's experience I could not recommend this place. Service was barely adequate. I had appetizers that were ok,but wife had chicken salad sandwich served on a cold/ stale roll and salad itself was tasteless. That along with " out of lettuce and tomato" and hearing when others came in that soda machine wasn't working all added to the negativity. Server seemed generally disinterested.

Terrible customer service. I walked in on a Saturday. No bartender. They should lock the forts and go home. Terrible

The patio pub is a great place to come! The atmosphere is great and so are the workers. If you decide to come be sure to ask for Victor!

If you’re looking for a classy little downtown bar, The Patio is the place for you! The staff provides superior service and great company. If you’re visiting our sweet town, this is a must stop. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. I can promise you that leaving with a positive experience is guaranteed. Make sure you plan your visit on a day that Victor is working. There’s no better bartender in town and I can assure you, from experience, you’ll be well taken care of. - review posted from a local resident.
