Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for a few drinks. Staff was very friendly, service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasent. It was not busy. The beer in draft was cheap and good. We did not have time for food but the menu looked delicious. Will definetely come back to try a burger next time we're in town
I was here a few weeks ago looking to try the fried turkey ribs but unfortunately they were out of them that day. So I had the regular ribs instead and they were off the chain. Fantastic!I came back for a second time today, and they had the fried turkey ribs. I don’t think there’s been a word invented yet to describe the deliciousness of a fried turkey rib. SO GOOD!!! Especially with the Carolina sauce, they give you for dipping.
Special burger fries $ 999Not great small bun bigger than meat dry . Service came out for a smoke break and blew her smoke in our direction. Not
We went for the 2nd time on Saturday the 17th of June..The first time we got a pound of brisket for carryout. We weren't wowed by any stretch, but it was fair, and we certainly realize brisket is very difficult to get just right. We went back a 2nd time to try a pound of pulled pork for carryout. Unfortunately, the pork was very bad..It was mushy, there was zero smoky flavor, extremely salty ( and this is coming from a big salt fan) and sitting in sort of liquid that didn't appear to be associated with the pork. The liquid reminded me of beef broth from a can ( it may have not been, just reminded of it ).. I'm not sure if the pork was a few days old and they tried to revive it or what happened, but it was very bad. I always root for small businesses, and will continue to do so, but unfortunately Trifecta was marked off the list. As a side note - the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Sorry to say this wasn't as good as expected. Ribs were clearly heated up after being refrigerated. Service was great, though. The mexican restaurant a few doors down was packed for lunch and this place was empty... I think I know why.
We stopped here for lunch on a whim. The BBQ nachos were delicious. Friendly staff. We ate outside at a table. Very pleasant.
This place absolutely sucked there was no flavor in literally anything we tried & they charged us 3 times for 1 entree thinking that we wouldn’t catch it. It would have been a $20 mac n cheese with a sausage if we didn’t say anything. Our food was bland and the meat was tough. Don’t go here.
Probably the worst Mac & cheese we have ever had. Horrible service. One of our party never received his drink order and then another never received his drink. The sides resemble food not fit for our animals. We collectively (group of 6) found it absolutely terrible. We would never recommend to anyone.
Good Sized Bar & Grill Downtown FrankfortDecent Customer Service,Very Weird Vibe when I came inFood Portions could be better if your getting the bbq meats best get it by the pound this 4oz isn’t going to cut it but the price was decent for 2 meats 2 sidesUnfortunately the collard greens and baked beans was blandAnd the the brisket and pulled pork were dry which I was shocked because this was coming in as the first guest of the dayCharged extra for buns

Went out for lunch with family, and friends. Service was phenomenal, food was fantastic, atmosphere was very relaxing. Definitely will be dinning again soon to see what’s next on the menu ! I simply asked what was the favorite thing on the menu - The Egg Benedict with brisket- ABSOLUTELY Delicious 10/10 recommended
Tony was a big part of the experience. We were the only ones in when we arrived, so had plenty of time to chat. Started with fried mushrooms and the turkey ribs. Both choices were amazing. Light flour dusting on the mushrooms was unique and best ever according to my wife. Turkey was also unique; moist, smoky and a light coating. They were also a very pleasant surprise. Followed with a combo plate. Pulled pork was typical of most places. Ribs could use more time on the smoker. Sides were average. Good whiskey selection. Not so great if you want wine, but that is what my wife drinks. We would definitely go back for the mushrooms and turkey, and likely try the fried pickles. Just a cool joint.
I was gonna rate this 2.5. However. The green beans are the actual best thing ever. The chicken was as dry as the Sahara in June. The sauces… prettyGood. Especially the Carolina mustard based one. That slapped. Now. The coleslaw. That was the nastiest coleslaw I have ever eaten. It tastes like cabbage and cool whip. And I tried it twice just to make sure. The sausage was pretty good. Brisket was alright. Looked a little gray but the sauce saved the day. The server Amalfi was so friendly and kind! Loved her! My sister says the ribs were decent. Which I think is a kindness considering she is a four diamond chef. The baked beans needed so much doctoring that I think we both would pass med school. Now bear in mind we like things spicy. Almost everything was so sweet. If you like sweet this is your place. I will leave it for you. Xoxo please season the mac and cheese.P.s. I didn’t take any pictures of the actual food because we were busy becoming sauce mixologists. Again the sauces were great.
Parking: If you can’t walk far be prepared to take a break. But it’s street parking so ya know.
Wheelchair accessibility: They had many tables that would accommodate wheelchairs or mobility devices.
Traveling at the moment and stumbled upon this BBQ place. Omg, get the pulled pork and the sausage, both were so good. The mac and cheese was amazing as well. Folks that work there are super friendly. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be back for that pulled pork, best I'd ever had! Also get the Pecan Pie. It was melt in the mouth good
Located in the heart of Frankfort, this BBQ spot has it all and does so with quality. The BBQ itself is amazing, and the advertised special turkey ribs are worth the visit. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It's usually a two-person operation but you wouldn't know it based on the quality and rapidity of the service.
