During my visit to the Waffle House in Frankfort, KY, friday night at 10pm I was highly impressed by the cook's exceptional skill in preparing our meal to perfection. Not only was he tall, dark, handsome, and well-spoken, but quiet also well-dressed and clean. He promptly cleaned his area after finishing each meal. Unfortunately, the servers seemed to only be interested in collecting their tips and leaving the tables dirty, often sitting down to complain, which created an unpleasant and unkid-friendly atmosphere. They could benefit from additional training in customer service and language etiquette. Nevertheless, my husband and I enjoyed our meal and hope to have the same cook and a more professional server in the future. 2 ½ stars due to unprofessional service and language. The cook 5 stars.

From the moment I walked in I spent five minutes waiting for a waiter. I did not get greeted when I entered. So I just walked out. After a long drive from Puducah, that's sad.

Went in there today no one acknowledged you were there they were cleaning couple tables I ask people sitting there about do we wait for seat since its busy or grab one she said the gentleman had a list so when he got done he came took them to table and never acknowledged me standing there. There was a table in corner empty but I didn't want to cut in front of someone who may have been there longer than I. But should have people came in went straight and sat down. Not mad at them but that place needs to acknowledge customers coming in and make sure people get waited on. Not ignored. I just left and I probably won't go back. Poorest customer service.

We don't have any Waffle Houses up north so when in Kentucky I had to stop at one. Pecan waffle and a side of crispy hash browns with coffee did the trick and was everything I had hoped it would be. So simple but yet so good. Wait staff was super friendly and welcomed us yankees just fine.
