I picked up a salad to go. The salad bar is absolutely amazing and everything is so fresh. I will definitely be returning.

I eat lunch here quite a bit and their deserts are great & adorable. So I ordered my Dad's 80th Birtthday cake. It was beyond was I pictured in my head! Gorgeous! Butter pecan with buttercream frosting. So much detail all in the monochromatic green color that I wanted! I could not have been happier! Thanks so much!

This place is great! The staff is very attentive and friendly and the salad bar is amazing. the fish was out of this world and the large portion was a MOUND of fish with hush puppies. I'm picky about my slaw and they did not disappoint! they were even offering free samples of their clam chowder, which is kind of cruel because I almost regret not ordering it! if you've not stopped in to eat at The Homeplace, you're missing out!

This place has such good food and a friendly atmosphere. You really get a big serving for the money and their salad bar has absolutely anything you could ever want. Really try the salad bar you can make your salad as big or as small as you want and you only pay for what you get by weight!!

Warning: the food here is atrocious LY DeliciousI. I could I would give them a 10+. .I had the fish plate..hand breaded fish filets..(someone got up pretty early)...are fried to perfection..the south Jaw Juh hushpuppies(a hybrid of corn fritter and hush puppy), well next time I am ordering 2 or 50 extra...the slaw was creamy and fresh..(not out of a box)...and for dessert man oh man plenty of options in the dairy case. I had the rose cream chocolate cake..the cream frosting had real rose petals Inc. Yeah I know most men in these parts ain't eatin' roses.,but as Festus Hagan sez " it was plum' larrapin.."..you can drive 30 mi to get fish or go get some of the Craptains but, why..when the best is just a few min's away!

Not sure what it costs for the salad bar if you eat there, but I got 2 salads to go, and it was $31. That's absolutely insane. Didn't even get drinks, just 2 salads to go.
