I found Babes BBQ recently by doing a google search for restaurants in Georgetown! Someone asked me have I ate at a restaurant but she couldn’t remember what it was called so I started naming places and unfortunately it wasn’t Babes but I am glad I stumbled upon your restaurant! I have ate here for several years, they have had a hard time due to ARSON fire, but still have the BEST BBQ anywhere. Somewhat limited menu until repairs are made but absolutely still worth visiting, great service, friendly, and still a positive attitude despite circumstances. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and the baked beans are the best.
Stopped through Georgetown on our way to Lexington. A group of us were traveling for work and are so glad we stopped at Babes’s BBQ for lunch!! The food was absolutely amazing!! Everything is made from scratch. The service was quick and they were incredibly friendly!! It was great to be able to support a local small business!! Will come back again and especially for that homemade peach cobbler!! :) Thanks for being so welcoming to our group!!!
