Sooo disappointed in Fava’s today.
Ordered pickup for bacon, egg and cheese with home fries and a soda. I was told 5 minutes and got there in 15-ish. I waited at the counter, no acknowledgement. I finally - and I recognize they were busy at 11:00 - called out to a waitress. She said it would be a few. Obviously they lost my order. I could have come in and sat down for the time it took, I ordered ahead for a reason. When it was finally brought out, again no acknowledgement, it was set on the ice cream case, and the waitress walked away! I loudly asked if someone could please check me out. I don’t know about you, but I like my food hot. Wow…bad customer service.
BTW, my “home fries” were naked. Just slabs of potato with no seasoning. As well as no ketchup, salt or pepper in the bag to season it yourself. It’s a TO GO order! no napkin! I really like to support local businesses but this was just a mess. It cost almost $17.

Family of four (2 adults,10 year old, 14 month old) Fried cat fish lives up to the name award winning, IT WAS BOMB and 14 month old approved. Garden salad with grilled cat fish was fresh and amazing. Green beans, broccoli, white cheddar mac n cheese were also 14 month old approved. Only con from the entire experience was that bathrooms don’t have a changing table, but it’s worth it.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner. My open face roast beef and sides were barely warm and did not taste fresh. My wife said her hot brown was warm but did not taste good.

Great local diner with great menu options and staff. With some picky eaters, this is one of the few places that we can routinely agree upon. You won’t be disappointed.
First time being back since they renovated. Had a lovely breakfast with a friend. Service was great! Food was SO GOOD!!

Very old school cafe with a rich history. Very pleasant staff, great food, and reasonable prices. Everyone worked together as a team to make sure everything and everyone was cared for. This was a small town and pleasant experience...something hard to find today. And they serve breakfast all day. Very much recommended.
