Nasty and expensive both times I’ve gone, youre better off at mancinos, subway, or roosters for the same food at half the price

They have some really nice young people working there and they are very efficient getting orders ready. The sandwich and fries are made while you wait, so it's hot and fresh. The downside is the store needs a good, thorough cleaning but it looks like they only hire enough people to cook the food.

Recently went to Penn Station Subs (7/31/23), this is my first time since 2007/2008. The food was just as good now as it was way back when. From what I remember anyway! It's VERY different from Subway! Let's not assume it's the same or you may be surprised! Depending on what you're looking for, wanting, or expecting from Penn Station there's some Pro's and Con's on an individual basis.Don't get me wrong the food is Amazing!- I loved the Sourdough Bread which is totally different from what you're used to with other Sub Franchises!-The freshly cut fries are delicious and not too salty.-They also slice their own deli meat daily. Which is nice to know if/when you're trying to monitor what you eat, whether it's for food allergies, healthy choices, and/orFor Religious/Personal preferences.-The Menu is HUGE! Easy to read and find. On the wall to your left as you walk inside. (coming from front entrance. I think there was a side entrance as well. Either way you'll be able to find the menu)!! The menu also lists the calories for each Sub. At the register there is take home menu's available as well.-You can watch everything as the prep and make your food.-They use a grill, deep fryer, and a small conveyor oven to make your food. Depending on what sub you choose and if you're having it toasted or not. Plus, those amazing deep fried freshly cut fries!!The main thing that intrigued me was being able to see all of their fresh meat through the glass doors of their standup refrigerator cooler. Along with their freshly made lemonade that's made daily, you'll also see the bags of farm fresh potatoes. These all bring comfort in knowing exactly what you'll be eating and drinking.____________________________Once again the Food was AMAZING!! I was very satisfied with how it was prepared, tasted, and the quality of everything. However, with that being said, The price is a tad more expensive given the options that they offer Veggie wise for your Sub.Everything is priced Separately. Sub, fries, and drinks. Unless, you catch their monthly combo specials. The main question is....Is the Food worth the Price?!?!In my opinion, I feel that it is. Yes, you may get less food for their price tag, but everything is prepared fresh each day. The Sourdough Bread is the only that is not baked in the store. There isn't multiple choices of bread either because it's not freshly baked in store daily. The bread is good and tasty though!!___________________________Long story short, this location was clean, spacious, clear menu, refreshing, and friendly staff. You can tell that the staff takes their time and job seriously by what you're being served!Hope your experience is as great as mine was!! Enjoy!!❤️Vegetarian options: I didn't look over the vegetarian menu or know how they prep/serve or their clean-cut policies, etc.Kid-friendliness: My 11yo (girl) and 13yo (boy) enjoys Sub Sandwiches and all the fixin's!! It's a clean and spacious "typical" eat-in restaurant. The main thing is if you have a picky eater or not.Parking: Plenty of SpaceWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Clean establishment with excellent service. I tried the chicken parmesan and wasn’t too impressed with the pizza sauce. Some home made marinara would definitely set this sandwich off.

Customer service great, food hot fresh, fries hot and fresh.Store manager came out and interacted with everyone in the lobby checking on everyone making sure their food was okay and made right. Even got a few people a refill. Very friendly environment. Definitely will be back.Parking: Not a whole lot of parking when the store was busy.

Stood there 5 minutes and then when someone finally came the Man who appeared to be in charge completely ignored us a started serving a group that had came in right after us. If they can not follow basic customer functions, then they won't get my business. BTW a young girl worked behind the counter and never acknowledged that we were even breathing...

As several have stated, this seems to be a poor version of what I'm used to when it comes to Penn Station. One restroom was out of order. There are paper signs hanging everywhere telling you how to operate things - I can only assume because everything is not receiving regular maintenance. They definitely used the barest of ingredients and the fries were burnt. The floor wasn't clean. One staff member was cleaning the tables. Over all, it gives the impression that no money is being put into the establishment and no one really cares. For $38 for two people, I can get a better deal with superior food elsewhere.Highly disappointed.
