I've eaten there several times at the dinner service and the food is quite good. I ordered lunch from there today and it was AWFUL! The Tonkatsu Box. The Tonkatsu was dry, the soup was supposed to be the clear soup (it wasn't). The Shrimp Shumai and California Roll were horrible. I threw 3/4ths of it away. Pretty much wasted 21.00.

The people there are friendly, the food is to die for I've never had better habachi in Kentucky. LASTLY the decorations and the fish are beautiful

The reason for the bad review is we went there today and ate and spent around $100. There were only four of us and they added almost a $20 gratuity to the check and then we're still expecting a tip. I'm sorry that was your tip. Would have been different had they told us beforehand then we could have just left.
