The owners are Trump lovers I'll just leave it at that....
Last night, I observed inebriated regular customers aggressively police other customers at the behest of the waitstaff. Even claiming to be employees of Slainte House.

This originally was supposed to fit the bill of a mom and pop watering hole, it is extremely loud and cramped (in the bar area) and the food is just… pretty awful. Tiny portions for fish sandwich and they use that nasty fake cheese for patty melt. The nachos chicken fingers and fries were a little bit better, but still somewhat below par. So far all the food in Kentucky sucks so I guess I can’ complain ?

This place is wonderful! It’s set in an old house that’s been transformed into a restaurant and bar, with a large, beautiful outdoor seating area that feels very relaxing. They also feature live music on the weekends, which adds to the charm.
The only drawback is that there’s no table service—you order food and drinks at the bar and carry them to your table yourself. While that part isn’t my favorite, it’s not a deal breaker. The atmosphere more than makes up for it. I will add the drinks a very expensive.

I always wanted to try the place. I had the fish and chips plus and an orange (beer) cider. The food and drink were excellent. As a bonus, they included a slice of Irish bread with butter on the side that I gobbled up immediately. There was also two people performing music outback in the patio are where I ate. Very nice atmosphere. The building appeared to be a historic building so that was pretty cool.

We were really looking forward to our meal, but unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. We tried a few bites, but ultimately couldn’t finish it. This was a first for us — we’ve traveled extensively and are generally very easygoing when it comes to food, so it was disappointing to have to leave it behind.

The Old Guys Pub Crawl codgers love this place. We've been to it several times over our two years of weekly crawling. We kind of bring down the average age of people there, when we show up, but it is nice having people open doors for us. I think I can actually match up some photos to this place. They serve beer. We like beer.

I did not eat here. I went for a Marine Corps Unit Reunion. I will say the place and the workers were pretty great! I want to go back and eat there soon.
Great pub with very friendly and helpful bartender. Cold beer, great atmosphere. Can’t go wrong stopping in here.
Great pub
