This is literally the only place I will eat a cheeseburger. Im very picky with eating meat & most places ( fast food, sports bars, family restaurants) I just cant. The food is incredible and the establishment is so clean its top tier. Our orders are always correct and service is friendly & top notch. Love the fries & even the fountain drinks taste perfect! Never a bad meal at Steak n Shake, highly recommended!

Obviously theres a bread and bun issue. They're either old and dry and definitely not fresh. This sucks. Hungry and cant even enjoy my dinner. Looks like burger king has won this battle. The bun fell apart and the sandwich bread did as well.

Why can no one get an order right? Ordered the western burger and they literally gave me a plain cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. With how much yall charge for the food, you could at least have the decency to put the damn bacon and fried onions on the burger. I swear I hate people anymore

I have been eating steak and shake for decades, I don't go inside anymore since they installed the horrible kiosk things but go through the drive through regularly. Today was the best dressed burger I've ever had at steak and shake! Was surprised to find it piled high with lettuce and pickles! The new girl in the drive through was super sweet and polite, will be back sooner rather than later this time :-)
Fully self service. You will order on a kiosk and then scan a finicky coke machine to get your drink. They will call your name like an old diner to come get your food. We did not speak to any staff the entire time. They also did not have a full menu. The jalapeño crunch steak burger was not in menu pulse a few other things. Not cool steak and shake.

Very impersonal experience. Kiosks are painful to use amd they still got the order wrong. No o e else in the place and not one person spoke to us. Food was cold and bland. Won't be back. Feel sorry for any elderly or handicapped people that may venture in there.
