Do not go to this Steak 'n Shake if you want service. No one will take your order for dine in and everyone is forced to order through a kiosk. Also, the self-serve soda fountain seemed to be locked up, so I could only get iced tea. Very strange.
What happened to this Steak 'n Shake, we used to go to this one in college 5 yrs ago and they were great. Great service and great food. The service now is awful and makes you feel like the manager doesn't want you to dine there.
Apparently, you can't switch between iced tea and fountain drinks without a code. Absolutely stupid.

I’ve been eating at Stake and Shake for over 60 years. I never knew you had to ask for lettuce, ketchup, pickle extra. I drove to Georgetown from Midway just to get a single cheeseburger and ice tea. When I got all the way home, that’s what I got- a single burger with cheese slapped on a bun!
There weren't many people there, probably because it was night, but the clerk was there to show me how to order.

Cleanest steak and shake I’ve had. Great food. No customer service since you order on kiosks and they just call your name.
The barcode scanner to get a refill is a joke. It only let me refill my pop half way. I tried to scan it again and it wouldn’t because it was too early to get another refill.
None of the food I ordered were fresh. I had to re order the food and even called the restaurant to make sure it was fresh and they told me “everything is always fresh”.which is a lie it’s a waste of money .

Thursday 8-29-2024 It was unknown to me that they close at 10pm. Even though Toyota right down the road, takes lunch at 9:45. I pulled up to the first menu before the speaker at 9:58 took a Quick Look and as soon as I pulled up to the window the recording welcomed me. Then it turned to 10pm and a girl interrupted the recording to tell me they’re closed followed by tons of laughter. This has caused me to never eat at a steak and shake again. Why would you laugh at someone trying to get lunch on their short break?

Fries cold , burger had a ton of ketchup on it , like why is my hand drenched in ketchup , only thing they got right was my drink (closing shift) on Tuesday night. Dancing and horse playing all over the food I should have got my money back and drove off never again

Triple cheese is where it's at and skipped the extra carbs from the fries. Nice cheat meal once in a while won't hurt.
