What a pleasant surprise! When I was advised that the Wilshire Restaurant would be hosting our community Christmas Party, I began checking reviews. The results weren't all that great, but I figured what the heck, it's one meal, one night, and at-least the comradery would be good. Oh my, was I ever wrong!! The meal was FABULOUS! The food delicious, rivaled only by quick and courteous service. What a wonderful gathering! I happily applaud those responsible for selecting the Wilshire Restaurant. Though not a trained connoisseur, I know good food and service when received. Yes, I highly recommend the Wilshire Restaurant in Georgetown, Kentucky! The only negative I encountered, in an otherwise perfect gathering, was a serious lack of appropriate Handicap Parking. Hats off and great job to the the Wilshire Restaurant!

Poorly lit grounds, actually, no lighting on the grounds at all. Came out for an event and they don't have the entrance marked or any indication of where to go. Looks like an old house renovated to be a restaurant without doing anything to the exterior to be welcoming. All doors that we came across were dirty like employee only entrances. If you're coming for the first time, do it when it's bright out and hope that you can find the way in.Watching someone else wander aimlessly around the building as I'm typing this which just proves the point.

We arrived at 5pm to an empty restaurant. Our server was less than thrilled to be there but took our order. We ordered pretzel appetizer, 3 soups, a salad, salmon and chicken quesadilla. We waited... over 40 min... waitress never returned. Finally, she brought 2/3 soups... 10 minutes later she brought our entrees. No butter with baked potato, no salsa or sour cream for the quesadilla. We asked for those things and asked about the soup and pretzels which she said she was "waiting on?" After the meals were done, the soup and pretzels arrived. No apology. No attempt to make things right. I emailed and FB messaged the restaurant to allow them to make things right. No reply. Will NOT be back.

This is a pretty and quiet out of the way place for sure..However, the service is not friendly or inviting..Especially for a single older lady dining alone... The waiter did a decent job. However, the so called dinner roll I received looked like one of the cheapest ones you could buy in a package at the supermarket... And it wasn't even hot...... I think the butter was margerine or some kind of a spread, not real butter.....The pasta bolgenese.... Was not at alk as it was described. The meat sauce was under the Pasta, not over it. The pasta was linguini, not cappallini. And the sauce was no way any kind of a cream sauce......I had mentioned to the waiter that I was interested in the catering options. And when the catering lady came out to the front a bit later..... he obviously did not clue her in because she totally ignored me.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp when you enter the dining area that leads to the private catering rooms.

Went for lunch and bartender had very limited knowledge of bar and simple drinks. Really just average for a 19th hole bar/restaurant. The mahi-mahi wrap was little dry but pretty good.

Love this place! It's gorgeous inside ~ the owners are always on-site and the food is great! We love sitting outside listening to live music on summer nights. Everything about Wilshire's is awesome!

We drive 2 hours to enjoy this outstanding establishment . We have never had a meal that wasn’t exceptional. The menu has changed since the last visit. The corn pudding was not on the menu. And the steaks were not as they were on past visit.

Great service! Rylie was extremely busy but kept a great attitude and got us everything we needed in a timely manner! The food was delicious ? ate every bite of the perfectly cooked hamburger. The homemade chips tasted just like Lay's, oh wait they were Lay's because they were out of the homemade ones.

You would think paying $17 for a catfish dinner, you get more than one piece of catfish that was smaller than a kids fork and two sides that were sub par. Not enough kitchen to support a large crowd of people or servers. Save your money and go somewhere else.
