“Just had a Bubba burger and onion rings. Both were delicious. Best burger in the area. Service was also excellent. Place was clean with clean restrooms. Left with a full stomach and good taste in my mouth. Can’t wait to go back. Thank goodness I saw the billboard on the way into Grand Rivers!“

“Papa Z's exceeded my expectations. I recently moved down here from the Chicago area and was really missing traditional Chicago food. Well, Papa Z's fixed that! I had the Italian beef and Chicago style hotdog and it instantly reminded me of Portillos before they went franchised. (If you know you know). The beef was nice and juicy and had great flavor, and they went all out with the Chicago dog, they even had blue relish! Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially if you are from the Chicago area. You will not be disappointed. Staff was very friendly as well. I can see this place going far!“

“Upon arriving we were greeted and instructed to pick our own seat. The restaurant has a local vibe to it. Our server catered to our needs, especially in keeping our drinks refilled. The burgers, fries, okra, onion rings, & cheese quesadilla were all fresh and yummy. The owner we briefly spoke with as we were leaving was warm and personable as well. “Great meal. Great service. Bacon is very tasty. Pancake was fluffy and delicious. My husband had an egg sandwich, and we shared the pancakes with the Special Breakfast. It was a busy spot on a Saturday morning, but service was fast and friendly. My one point of critique for the atmosphere was that the chairs were not comfortable and there was a doorbell chime right by my ear. Next time, I'll pick a spot away from the doorbell. Will definitely be back.“

“Stopped in finally to check out this local place and the owners are SUPER nice people who truly care and make everything from scratch on site. Food was great and I'm not a fan of Christian music per se but if you ARE they have all kinds of CD's for free and to purchase of Christian music. They have live Christian music there sometimes too. Would definitely recommend their food! Give it a try! I had the sausage sandwich and it was great! Only thing I could recommend is instead of mustard they need a red sauce for it like they have at the fair. They're from Chicago originally so mustard on them must be a Chicago thing. I don't like mustard and it was a little bit dry with nothing. But still good! Freshly grilled peppers and onions and a good sized sub bun. Fresh cut fries were good but maybe a tiny bit over cooked, I just prefer them not so dark because they get hard and it hurts my teeth, but that's not their fault that I have bad teeth. LolKid-friendliness: Very nice, clean atmosphere, saw other families come in while we were there. Great food for EVERY member of the family and a nice atmosphere. A little diamond in the rough.“

“The food and atmosphere are outstanding. The service on the other hand something to be desired. Our server was very inattentive. Never got a refill on our drinks, she sat at the counter eating while our food was waiting to be dropped off. Another person brought it to us. I had to get up and ask for utensils to eat with. She never brought the check.“

“We where out late tonight. Other restaurants where already closed. ? So we stopped in this little Waffle House off I24 in Calvert City a little after 11pm March 12 2024. Wasn't expecting much! One other customer, The Cook, a Waitress, My wife, My service dog and Me. Quite clean but best of all smiles. The waitress took our orders. Got them right out to us. Spoke friendly to my dog. The cook even ask how our meal was tasting and if we needed anything. As both the cook and the waitress walked and wiped things down. You could see pride in their work. It was nice to see this.Keep up the great work ?Oh My wife Kelly and I will be back.Yes Chip too?‍ Parking: We had great parking spotWheelchair accessibility: The handicap spots are by the door not put at the end of the walk then a ramp. The ramp is close to the door.All around thinking of the customers.“

“This was the cutest little marina restaurant i've ever been to. My family and I arrived about an hour before closing but the entire staff team were so kind! The owner came and spoke to us for a little while and was extremely friendly and polite ❤️ the food was delicious and came out pretty quickly! Definitely go check them out if you're in the area. They have plenty of selections for picky eaters as well!“

“The food was excellent! It was my first Waffle House experience ever and I was impressed for real! The server's was on top of it. Not one customer went without a refill or the offer at least. To me that's an important factor I consider when I pay the check. Everyone was friendly and even though my meal was someone else's treat I'd give it 5 stars all the way across the board even if it hadn't been. I would recommend this Waffle House location to anyone looking for a good breakfast at least and I'm sure from the food I ate their lunch and dinner menu items are just as good. I'll definitely be visiting them again and I'll update this review as well according to how everything goes. “I have had dinners here three times over the past ten months. Close to interstate and easy access. The quality and flavor of food was very good, and service was always prompt. First meal was the mahi mahi and the fish and sides exceeded my expectations. Since then I've stopped in and ordered salmon and chicken and I was not disappointed.“

“Stopped at this Cracker Barrel a number times on our travel over the years. This one measures up to the the rest on the same level. After a long days drive we stop only for the food not the shopping. The food was prepared and served as we expected. Place was short staffed so it was not serving up the capacity. It seems most establishments have short staffing issues. However this did not affect us getting in quickly which was nice. Will stop again in the future as they have always met expectations.“
