Drove up for their Weds pork chop special. It was delicious as always. So tender, falling off the bone. Dressing good as well. Huge servings. Take home enough for supper. And we always have to get the yummy blackberry cobbler! Service good as well.
11/20 Have to add that we went today about 1230 for their pork chop special & they were NOT good. Very dry & chewy. Nothing at all like the many times before when they were so tender you didn't even need a knife to cut them. Idk what the difference was this time, but I was sure glad that the 2 couples we had invited to go with us didn't go. They had never eaten there & after us talking it up, it would've been pretty disappointing. Not going to change my stars review just yet. We'll try it again sometime but I hope the manager figures out what was wrong yesterday!

I live nearby and we love this restaurant. It's homey without being kitschy. The service is always good. Are there wait times? You betcha! Because they're actually making food! *GASP*
We have never gotten bad service, bad food, or hungry again in an hour after eating here. The portion sizes are enough that my mom can eat two meals per dinner but I get one. She's a huge fan of the hot dogs, chicken and meatloaf.
So seriously, take a breather, sit down to an actual meal made my real hands, and strike up a conversation. Oh, and get cobbler! You won't be sorry!

The food is amazing the price is reasonable the atmosphere is good the only reason I gave three stars on the service is our waitress young blonde lady was not paying attention to us and we had to flag her down to get our check everything else was really good the food the atmosphere really clean place we will go back again if we ever come through Kentucky

We have eaten at Gerbers many times but were never treated as rudely. We were not allowed to chose our seat although we were the only customers. My sandwich bun was too hard to eat. The prices are exorbitant.

It’s a little bit of a drive for us to get there but boy was it worth it. I had the baked steak special and it was huge. Tasted great too. My husband had the pulled pork and it was the size of 2 sandwiches. I’m going back Friday. Try it, it’s well worth the drive. I found it on Facebook and am so glad I did. Wait staff was friendly and on point to our needs
