I live nearby and we love this restaurant. It's homey without being kitschy. The service is always good. Are there wait times? You betcha! Because they're actually making food! *GASP*
We have never gotten bad service, bad food, or hungry again in an hour after eating here. The portion sizes are enough that my mom can eat two meals per dinner but I get one. She's a huge fan of the hot dogs, chicken and meatloaf.

The food is amazing the price is reasonable the atmosphere is good the only reason I gave three stars on the service is our waitress young blonde lady was not paying attention to us and we had to flag her down to get our check everything else was really good the food the atmosphere really clean place we will go back again if we ever come through Kentucky
11/20 Have to add that we went today about 1230 for their pork chop special & they were NOT good. Very dry & chewy. Nothing at all like the many times before when they were so tender you didn't...
