“This is a national guard Defac, the workers are contracted to do what they do, a bunch of older ladies that work harder than have the people leaving the bad reviews. Never have an issue with any of the food, yes it is “Army” food, and they do their best to clean it up. Salad bar could definitely have more to it.

I wasn't upset because the food was so delicious and in all honesty, I finished it later cold.
I then proceeded to order several more times because it is some of the best food in the county, and every order was piping hot!
I recommend the Philly anything, due to portion size being so generous, and the flavors of the ingredients, produce an amazing dish!”

BUT let me tell you about that cabbage and those greens! In my years of living, that was some of the BEST cabbage I have ever had,#yummy and the greens were absolutely amazing. I literally got full off those two sides alone! 😂

“Best restaurant pancakes we've ever had. Very friendly service and low prices compared to everywhere else. Their food is actually made there and it is not manufactured. For example, their pancakes and burgers. Our kids said that these were the best bacon cheeseburgers they'd ever had. They even made our kids burgers for breakfast.”

“Wow there are not a lot of LJSs left and this little town has one, the staff is amazing, efficient, quick, and accurate. I really enjoyed my lunch and was amazed how your staff was efficient and quick, the food was good and fresh and the restaurant was packed with what I'm assuming was locals that frequent this location and even thou the place was packed the staff was efficient and very polite , I HIGHLY recommend this place. If you like LJS this is definitely a must visit”
